Very pretty boutique hotel in the heart of Thamel ,easy walking distance. The hotel is really clean with comfortable and spacious rooms. Safeer who is in reception here is really humble and helpful. The food was delicious I really enjoy it.
Very clean hotel in the heart of the Thamel area. Budget price (approx $20 for a double room with bathroom) and well worth the money. Quiet location as it is off the street. Lovely rooftop restaurant for breakfast and light meals. Friendly staff.
Very nice little hotel tucked away in a quiet and peaceful corner of busy Thamel. Rooms are big and clean, there's a nice roof-top restaurant with great views across the city, and all pleasantly decorated with old Nepalese architectural features and antiques. The owners and staff couldn't have done more to help us, storing our two very large bike boxes for a month and generally making everything very easy.
The Pavilion is situated in Thamel not far from Durbar Square so it's in a perfect location. We very much appreciated how friendly and helpful they were, for example we'd brought mountain bikes from the UK and needed to store the boxes for a month. The staff & manager were really nice, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely go back there next time I'm in Kathmandu.
We visited Nepal recently and stayed here for 5 nights. We had a warm welcome by the staff and the check in was very smooth, they had kept everything ready as ours was an online booking. The staff here is very friendly and really very helpful. We didn't have any complaints through out our stay. They help you in every possible way they can. The rooms are neat & tidy and well accomodated to our needs. They provide hot water, fresh towels, bath gel & shampoo , bathroom slippers.... We had a great experience staying here. Kudos to the team and hardly do we come across such people who are genuinely interested in providing the best for their customers rather than filling up their pockets. Thank you so much for the overwhelming experience.
We stayed at Nepal Pavilion Inn for 5 nights in March 2022. It is a nice, extremely well-decorated hotel located in the Thamel area. The highlight of this hotel is its staff. Mr. Mahesh from the front desk and Mr. Prakash were very friendly, courteous and respectful. We received a lot of help from them in terms of itinerary guidance, cabs etc. If you want a peaceful stay in Kathmandu city-center then this is absolutely the best option. The rooms are neat and clean, the food is good and the antique decoration is mesmerizing. The hotel is in a small lane which shields it from the busy street. Moreover, the staff ensures that all guests feel welcome and safe at the hotel. Thanks a lot for a wonderful experience !!!
I had a pleasant stay at Nepal Pavilion on my last KTM visit. Due to the Covid situation, the prices were discounted a lot, got a great deal! Yet the service was uncompromised, the staffs were helpful - the receptionist was warm and welcoming and even offered me tea. Lots of Nepali antique decorations in the hotel - loved it! the ambiance kind of made me feel like I was living in an authentic Nepalese home. The room was also cozy with the traditional Nepali theme. For the price, it is certainly a great deal. 5 star for the location, variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance - had a good evening stroll around Thamel. Thanks for making my stay a unique one.
Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located. Helpful, friends staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. The suite was very good with comfortable furniture and the bed was comfortable too. It was a wonderful experience. Good hospitality. The hotel is quiet, and is situated near to numerous restaurants.
The hotel itself is a well appointed boutique hotel with fascinating interior decoration including many antiques and artefacts. We stayed there as the difficulty in moving around in Nepal and for tourists to leave the country was increasing. The staff were very attentive and cared for our welfare at this time. We were very fortunate to have such a place to stay during that uncertain time.
What I wanted in a Thamel hotel: something in the heart of Thamel, something with clear links to the culture and history of Nepal, and something at a reasonable price. Nepal Pavilion Inn knocked it out of the park on all three. All of the restaurants and shops I was interested in were within two blocks or so. The hotel is jam packed with high quality artifacts and artwork representing Nepal's history. And all for a very modest price (by Thamel standards). Plus, the hosts were incredibly helpful, offering good advice, interesting conversation, and even helping me make arrangements with the taxi for my next destination (and helping to get a good rate!). Such a good experience -- I know where I'll be staying the next time I'm in Kathmandu!
