Friendly and peaceful hotel. Managed by Pramod, he and his team offer super hospitality where nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is clean and quiet, down a small street and has lots of areas to chill and relax. The guys organised our travel for Pokhara and we shall return after our hike. Thank you 😊

Bad customer service. Manager pramod need to learn how to talk to your regular customer. Please give him some training so that he knows how to deal with customers. He wrote wrong information and when i tried to verify it he talked with me very indecently. He has no right to behave with me in this manager. Definitely not coming back ever or will recommend anyone ever. Horrible experience.

Response from Pramod Paudel, Owner at Kumari Boutique Hotel

Dear sbamin27 We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your stay with us multiple times. It seems like we ran into a misunderstanding led by a miscommunication. As far as I recall, I received a text from you on WhatsApp about the booking and the price, where, I replied with the price that was especially for you since you are my regular customer. The Price that I offered you was for without breakfast price since I recall you staying with us on a " without breakfast" reservation. I made a slight mistake by writing " with our instead of with out " it was a mistake of a letter which gave a different meaning. Following that message I received a call from you where I politely and with the deepest gratitude told you that you're like a family to us and our regular customer and the price was the same and just as before. I might have unintentionally upset you by saying that because then you sounded upset and mentioned that I had no right of talking to you like that and also threatened to put a bad review. Later on, I got a very upsetting review on Google and Tripadvisor. This is a very disheartening incident for the team and me, as, we had no intention of conveying such a message to you and losing a guest like you who we truly consider as a family. I would again like to apologize for the misunderstanding as I had no such intention and am hearty sorry if that caused to upset you. Hoping you would understand this and accept the apology. The doors of Kumari Boutique Hotel are always open for a family member like you and we hope a slight misunderstanding like this won't be a reason to lose a family bond between us. Hope we can keep this incident past us and start over with the deepest respect in our hearts. Best Regards, Pramod

Convenient location in Thamel; not on the busy road, away from traffic and noise but just 2-10 mins to the busy area where the shops and restaurants are located. There is a chic rooftop pool and bar/restaurant at a hotel next door so happy to chill there after a long day of excursion. It has a great view of the bustling Thamel and the surrounding hills of Kathmandu! The staff at Kumari Boutique are very friendly and helpful. Very good customer service. My room is very clean - very important for me; the hotel is very clean and organized. I had the 3rd floor room and facing a courtyard of some old building - it is quite and I get the sunrise side so that was a plus. Wifi is working very well. I’m glad I chose to stay there. Very affordable but customer service was excellent!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in all accounts! As soon as we arrived, the cheerful staff welcomed us with mango juice and took our bags up to our room for us. The room was very clean and spacious with fresh drinking water ready for us. The food was good and the wifi was strong enough to have video calls to family overseas. One of the best parts of the very clean hotel is the shaded veranda out front which provides a bit of separation from the quiet street out front while enjoying the beautiful weather of kathmandu. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to kathmandu and wanting to stay in the thamel district.
