At this place you see, that the planners understand the needs of travelers. Neet, quiet and relaxing out door area with braai facilities, any kind of shops near by. The staff is very helpful with any enquiry. Once the pool will be done, it might become number one in Lusaka

A friendly and well-coming staff beyond comparison in a nice, clean and well managed hostel. Not only for backpackers, but also for for (very!) grown-up persons like us (+70). An ideal place for families like ours (13+).

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at in my 15 years of travelling. Friendly staff, so helpful, clean, cheap, close to two shopping malls, great internet reception. One friend was living here for a few months and she loved it. If you're coming to Lusaka look no further! I felt like I was leaving family when I left.

We love Paseli's! The team at Paseli's turned our Zambia roundtrip into the best vacation ever. With Paseli's as our base camp we travelled every direction, throughout Zambia. The team at Paseli's organized transport, solutions, braai-dinners in the front yard, breakfast in the back, all the while making us feel at home and at ease. The Northmead marked close by adds flavour and life. Paseli's is putting in a pool - which will add that slight touch of luxury backpackers don't expect, but sure like to find.Recomended!

I think this place just went through a management change. It was a mess. I would NOT stay here. I booked with a person named Miriam. However now a person named Stella is running the day to day operations. I asked about connections / relationships that they have with tours and tour operators in town; they had none. Miriam stated to me that they did have these connections. When I arrived the water was broken in the building I was in. When they "fixed" it the next day, somehow the eletrcial system was hooked into the plumbing system. Therefore you got shocked when you touched the on / off valves (not a pleasant experience). Not to mention they incorrectly billed me. I was supposed to be billed 200 Kwacha a night since I was not in a suite including a bathroom. They billed me 250 Kwacha - I was not going to argue over 150 Kwacha ... however it just shows they do NOT understand customer service and satisfaction. Not to mention the Wi-Fi was a total mess. They have it locked down with quickly changing passwords. Literally in three days I went through eight different user IDs and Password changes. However 10 meters from the router you could not get a signal.

On a positive note the place was clean and safe ... which does go a long way in Zambia.

We enjoyed our stay there for 4 nights. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is very basic but free. We love the Internet but you should get up early in the morning to get the fast speed, be aware that evening Internet speed is incredible slow.
We had a suite room which has a small fridge and perfect for a small family. We recommend it to backpackers and small families who'd like to cook for themselves during travel.

A bit pricey (like the rest of Lusaka) but lovely, clean, safe, comfortable and homey backpackers . Very nice kitchen for self-catering. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Decent, safe location near big malls. Free wifi. Free breakfast which is yummy! Big, comfy beds with mosquito nets. Great place to stay in Lusaka!

Its a lovely hostel with friendly staff. They will help with any questions you have and do pretty much anything to make you feel welcome. There are good local shops and its only a 10 min walk to Manda Hill or the city centre. All round good place to stay. Will be staying there again if and when i travel back to Zambia.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Clean beds, nice breakfast and quiet. Lusaka isn't a nice town in the first place, but coming to Paseli's made the stay a lot better! Very close to Manda Hill, a big shopping mall. 2 kwacha with the bus and a 4 minute drive.

Lusaka is not the best city to visit, but Paseli is a great place to sleep. Extremely friendly staff.. Very clean, will definitely use them again :) The breakfast was good.. Very good value and I think it is the best backpacker place in Lusaka. A bit quiet but I like it like that.
