Amazing location, lovely grounds, animals closeby, peaceful and relaxing setting. Rooms are large with nice balconies. Large bathrooms and well equipped. Grounds are very extensive with lots of areas to walk. Went on a sunset walk which was lovely with great views.

We spent two (wholesome) days at Sakae. The staff were helpful and friendly (this was important to us - girls). The rooms were cute and neat. We were so impressed they gave us the top-floor rooms. If wifi is important to you, you'll be sorted here. The TVs had Netflix (but we didn't use the TVs - at all). On day 1, we relaxed in the fields, went on a hike, bicycle ride and had some sundowners by the infinity pool. At night, the bonfire, wine + quality girl time was heaven (shoutout to Mr. Eustace). On day 2, we got up early for a cute breakfast and a game drive. We learned a few things about the animals from our guide, Mr Brighton. If you're looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful space, Sakae gives you that the moment you drive in.

Perfect location if you're looking a serene get away from the busy city life. The room was very clean and aestheticly pleasing. The staff were also very organised and helpful, and available 24/7, we appreciated there flexibility and ability to adapt according to the weather. My husband and I also enjoyed the food, highly recommend the cocktails and the activities were a nice addition.

I got what I needed which was quiet, solitude, and rejuvenation. The atmosphere is lovely and you are in almost utter quiet. The place is overpriced for what you get. $250/night. I have expectations. The room was damp and musty to an unhealthy level. A gorgeous deep bathtub that I could not fill at night to have a proper bath as the water pressure was so low. I waited two hours for dinner. No apologies were offered. Food was ok, not $250/night great. They ask about meal requirements but then have no interest to meet them. The furniture on the patio is disgustingly dirty. Signposts would help. It was not clear where to go when I arrived. There are trails to walk on that could benefit from some signage as it is pretty easy to get lost in the bush. There are not that many animals. The wait staff was attentive enough but not really well trained to meet a $250/night expectation. When I really need a break from Lusaka and some pure quiet, I may return, but there are other places springing up for a fraction of the cost. If Sakae wants to be exclusive, then they need to be exclusive on all levels and offer healthy accommodation and high services to meet the expectation of their cost or lower their costs to around $100/night because that is what they offer in reality.

Beautiful grounds, with a magical vibe. Great chef and helpful staff, and some animals to see. However they need to pay attention to detail. For $200+ a night, there should not be a musty smell in the rooms (indicating the presence of mould) and the underside of the rugs in the bathroom were covered in mould. They don't have mosquito nets, and insects easily come into the rooms.

The service is excellent!all the staff are helpful and friendly. If you want a quiet and peaceful environment to relax,Sakae is the place to be. The waterfalls and the bushwalk were the best part,we got to see the beautiful giraffes upclose. The rooms are clean with hot running water. Its chilly in the evenings because of the trees so make sure to carry something warm!

Sakae provides a great natural resort atmosphere and has quite a scenic environment. It's a great place to go and unplug from the hustle and bustle of the city. The customer service was good, and so was the food.

Best place to unwind from mine camp life, serenity of the place is best, afternoon visit to the waterfall is perfect, hope we had afternoon tea right there with the rushing water. Then we mingled with some wildlide on our stroll, giraffes, Zebras, warthogs, impalas and others I don't recognize. Dinner over the fire pit and bar is right there. The pool not running as heater is down and it's winter. Just being close to nature is enough to enjoy the place.
