Met at reception by GM at check in and regularly saw him around checking everything was okay, room was clean air on was set to great temperature staff were exceptionally helpful. Great breakfast and all meals were outstanding. A visit to the brewery must not be missed. Great golf course on your doorstep. Will definitely be going back thanks to all concerned

This hotel is very comfortable; the room and property is almost too big. It is an excellent spot for an overnight stay between flights at LUN airport, since there is no nearby accommodations in the immediate vicinity of the airport.

Wifi is lighting fast.

I wish I have more time at this hotel. Ciela Hotel is located inside the Bonanza Estate, which is an upmarket gated community. It is a residential enclave with a hotel (Ciela), golf course, shopping, eateries, all within a few km radius.

Taxi fare to the hotel is K250 or less, one-way. The hotel also offers shuttle pickup service at $15 usd pp.

Highly recommended.

Had an amazing spa date at the Spa at Bonanza, excellent service, friendly staff and extremely hygienic with plenty measures put in place for the fight against the pandemic. Headed to the restaurant after for a meal and what an amazing dining experience. The waiters were not only friendly but were very knowledgeable of the items on the menu and helped us with some recommendations. What a pleasant surprise.... The service was amazing and the food was top tier. This was the first time in ages that I had nohitos that actually tasted like a well put together mocktail and not just a sugar solution with lemon ..... everything was just so perfect. Definitely going back and highly recommend. World class resort, world class services and world class food. Keep it up!! Ps: the road is tarred all the way through and very easy to find. Approximately 5 minutes away from KKIA

To whom it may concern

Myself and my friends visit your hotel on Saturday (check-in) until Sunday (check-out).

We were very disappointed in our stay, as two of the total 4 rooms booked had no aircon.

We had our day by the pool, and ordered pizza, which was also a struggle, as most of the toppings which were listed on the menu were not even on the pizza. I don't even want to mention the bad service from your pool staff. We waited so long for drinks to be ordered.

When we arrived at the Hotel after the Kurt Daren show, there was no water available at the front desk.

I am sure the Marriot Group would not be impressed by the service we have experienced. I have travelled to a lot of Marriot Hotels around the world, and this was just so disappointing.

You won't see us again. So sad that we had to pay such a lot of money for this poor hotel service.

Hopefully your staff will get the necessary training to improve on the service levels.

I do apologise for the delayed response, as your complaint had been handed over to one of our Management team members who has since left the company, and thus we dropped the ball here. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the Food & Beverage leadership team to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed to prevent slow service, and there not being water at the from desk, from occurring in the future. This place has the worst service ever!! I am here right now as I write this review and checking out tomorrow 1st thing in the morning. We booked 5 rooms and from the first day all has been pathetic. Let me speak of today. Lunch time we ordered lunch for the kids and we decided to to go to the farmers Market and 2 hours later the kids still had no lunch. No one could take responsibility until a tall man( Manager) says sorry we are only placing order now. From 1 pm till 3:30 pm imagine kids stayed hungry. Then dinner , we decided to have pizza on the golf course and all was great but decided to have some ice cream from the restaurant. The very Manager was still on duty and asked us to sit and he would be back with our order. I let the kids sit and i went to the rooms to help one of the kids locate her room until successful, came back and my kids had no ice cream or anyone see them. I could see him in the kitchen, I asked for him and now every one is panicking asking us to sit and wait. I called him out and his Boss ( A lady) says its my fault I asked him to do something and not serve you yet she and him and were together when I made the order. This doesn't end here. Ceila Resort things need to change or turn this place into something else. Your Room service is a non starter, doesn't work at all. During the Rotimi show, we ordered room service and guess wait? We are still waiting until today.

The hotel is lovely with spacious rooms and beautiful art. Unfortunately, we came for golf and spa. Golf was fine, but spa personnel were very disorganized. There is no mechanism to book online and it took me a few times to get someone to answer the phone a week before our visit. I booked two services speaking with someone personally and confirming twice during the conversation that we had the right dates and time as it was a holiday and I had thought they might be fully booked. No problem. I got the booking. But apparently whomever I was speaking to didn't actually record it anywhere. I presented myself 10 minutes before my spa services were to begin and they had no record of my booking. After waiting 10 minutes I was told they could fit me in. I then sat for 15 minutes in a waiting area before being ushered into a 'relaxation' room where I waited another 10 minutes. Then someone (not the masseuse) led me to a massage room where I disrobed and proceeded to wait face down on a table for another 15 minutes before coming to the realization that no one was actually coming. So I left. I didn't get an apology or any explanation as I left. Just the person at the check in desk looking away and embarrassed. Really annoying and disappointing. It looks like a first class operation but apparently that doesn't carry through to the training of the staff.

If you’re a golfer , this place is awesome !
Very little to do except sit by the poolside . The buffet breakfast is good but the buffet dinners are bland and somewhat bleek . Best value for money and food is served at the Brewery on-site restaurant which is the only place with atmosphere and vibe .
Overall , the hotel is clean ; it’s pleasant , the rooms are average but I’m glad we chose to only spend 2 nights .

The Brewery is on the premises of the Resort and within walking distance of the Hotel. Great food and a great passion for beer. Only an 8 min drive from Keneth Kaunda Airport, no issues passing through the gate on to a world class brewery offering 6 different varieties of beet that are brewed on site. The food was great! Tried many different dishes on the menu and was impressive by everything that the kitchen produced.

After over a week of going on safaris, hiking, and attending a wedding, this property was a nice way to cap it all off.

I’m rating it based on what facilities or amenities I used. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast provided was varied as items were offered for every palate.

As a Premier member, the management extended my checkout to accommodate my later flight.

Very impressed, and they have a golf course and pool.

We stayed here for one night courtesy of Pro Flight because of a flight cancellation en route home. The hotel is large and new and has everything you need. The room was large and nice, but only two towels were provided. I had to call three times to get a bathmat and additional towels. The pool looked nice but we didn't have a chance to use it. The gym was nice. The breakfast buffet (included) and dinner buffet (very reasonably priced) were very good. I don't usually like buffets, but my experience with buffets in Zambia was great. The front desk staff was pleasant. But, after checking in we decided to arrange our airport transfer for 15 minutes earlier than what was offered at check-in. We were assured the message would be passed on. The following morning we were out front at 8:45 but the driver did not show up until 9:05 (not his fault) because obviously no one had communicated the change. It turns out we had plenty of time, but we already had to delay our flight home by a day because of the flight cancellation and we certainly did not want to miss a connection. The person at the front desk seemed very confused when I said we'd asked for 8:45, and when we were clearly nervous that no one showed up she never bothered to come over and talk to us or check on the status of our ride. Otherwise we enjoyed our short stay at this hotel.
