I had not stayed at Le Petit for some time now but opportunity arose to revisit for a one night getaway staycation, something I periodically do for a change of scenery.
The 'old' Le Petit was already a great little hotel with just 10 well appointed suites and now, after adding 18 standard rooms - I stayed in one of those - are a total of 28 rooms and suites just the right size for the location and allowing larger groups traveling together to actually get confirmations.
Space has always been at a premium and many customers will be relieved to now have better chances to get their rooms confirmed.
The new rooms are well appointed, lacking nothing in comfort or conveniences as the images posted also show. The bed was very very comfortable, no issue with the pillows either though one was plenty, I put the others on the side of the bed.
Hot water in the bathroom came almost instantly on line and I enjoyed making some decent coffee using the capsules for the coffee maker.
The working station, I had to use it for some hours, has a state of the art socket array and the green lamp gave just the right illumination after I switched the main lights in the room off.
I noted the quality of the main and bathroom door, solid wood and the main door lock is of course state of the art with touch key cards to open.
The room, like all other new rooms, have a balcony on the upper floors and a little terrace for ground floor rooms.

Being located on Quality Hill, there is the added choice of a Japanese Restaurant which recently opened, besides the Le Chateau - Brasserie Belge, which has for a very very long time been a crowd favourite in Kampala.
Shopping too is great, Kampala's arguably best deli shop and La Patisserie for all kinds of breads, buns, croissants, cakes and much more are within the mall compound.
My stay was an eye opener, I had hoped for and expected the kind of quality and attention to details, given my past experience, and was not disappointed.
Breakfast is taken at La Patisserie and that will get a seperate review.
A great addition to the Kampala hotel scene, small as often said is beautiful and beautiful the Le Petit is.

We had 7 wonderful days & nights at Le Petit Village. Staff was quick to respond. Especially Janet is the good soul of the hotel, looking after perfectly clean rooms and doing the best to ensure guests feel comfortabel. As there are no mosqito nets and we do not like the spraying of the rooms, Janet made sure we get an electric dispenser, which worked perfectly well.
Rebecca at the reception was helpful with bookings and facilitating a room change, as we preferred a room a bit more in the inner part of the hotel ground.
Beds are gorgious, we slept very well. Some rooms need a make-over of the bathrooms, which may be effected once renovations are completed. Astonishingly enough, we were not inconvenienced through the ongoing renovations which aim at improving the hotel further.

Food is good, from breakfast to dinner and we especially enjoyed the sunday brunch at Le Chateau.

This review is for the hotel and main restaurant. The standard rooms here are mostly comfortable. One of the room's air con I stayed in was not strong enough and given that you do not get a top bed sheet (a common practice these days), I had to constantly flip the comforter off and on. The second room's shower faucet was not operating optimally as I was not able to get the rain shower fully working. The garbage can had not been emptied before I arrived and to be honest, the nice bathrobes provided did not look crisp and just laundered (my impression only). Other than that, the room was comfortable and mostly quiet except for occasional street sounds (to be expected given the location of the hotel) and conversations of staff outside. WiFI dropped off from time to time. Food at restaurant is OK. The "grilled" halloumi and vegetable skewers featured breaded deep fried halloumi, so not as described. The Sunday brunch had limited fresh fruits and unconvincing pastries/viennoiseries - not good value for vegetarians. Breakfast service was quite slow, taking up to 25 minutes for coffee and 30+ for eggs. Front desk was helpful and courteous but faced challenges such as making key cards and producing acceptable receipts. I chose this hotel because of its location but would reconsider for future visits.

This hotel was the ideal place to rest after several days of safari. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff; they were always ready to help you with a smile. The spacious, bright room was beautifully decorated, and had a modern bathroom with all necessities. The hotel has numerous facilities that suit everyone's needs; a day at the pool, relaxing in the spa, or a work-out in the gym. In the cozy restaurants and bars on the domain we could enjoy a refined breakfast, refreshing cocktails and delicious lunch and dinners. The central location of this hotel offers the advantage of being close to everything, but does not disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the hotel. Definitely recommended!

The place is beautiful ans serene. Got a warm welcome from the gentleman at the reception (I think Eugene was his name - not sure)
Abel, Jassa, the chef and General Manager were also very friendly ans helpful.

I wanted a venue for my guests' wedding but got the impression that I'd be charged a higher rate on food because the event would be non alcoholic.

Aside from that, everyone is really friendly and the rooms are beautiful.

The menu could maybe broken down into smaller menus because you can take a while looking for what you need that you just end up disturbing the waiters for the littlest things.

The property includes besides the hotel, a shop, a bakery and a restaurant. It is luxurious and you have many people taking care of the guests. The rooms were big, clean and very nice with a nice place with two chairs in front of the room. Unfortunately we had room 2, which is right besides the front desk so at night you hear everything-the noises of their computer, phones, people talking. I would suggest going to another room. Besides that it was a nice little oasis away from Kampala traffic noises and dirt. It is fantastic, the pool too and they only had a few mosquitoes coming at sunset.

This hotel is a find! Well-located near the US Embassy, the hotel has lovely cottages, exquisitely clean with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The staff is kind and responsive, and there is a lovely pool which our grandson enjoyed very much. Immediately adjacent to the hotel are restaurants, shops, and a coffee bar/patisserie which has wonderful pastries, beautiful cakes, and fabulous gelato. The rates are extremely reasonable. You can’t go wrong staying here.

We stayed at Le Petit Village for 2nights and can definitely recommend this Hotel. The staff member, Janet, was very caring and seems to be the good soul of the hotel. The food was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning as well as the fine dining restaurant in the evening. The deli is well stocked and really handy to have next door. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel with nice, spacious, clean luxurious rooms. The boutique concept is a major advantage, with lots of in-house facilities, including a complete gym, spa, peaceful garden with swimming pool, supermarket, interior design store, and restaurants. The staff is professional and very friendly, with a great personal approach. The Belgian-oriented food in Le Château is delicious; great value for money. Breakfast options are numerous, and very nice. Though located in the busy streets of Kampala, Le Petit Village offers a quiet, peaceful environment where guests can find the rest they need in all luxury.
