After a crazy few days with disrupted travel plans we received such a wonderful welcome and we felt much better. Enjoyed our swim too. Rooms had so many thoughtful details - everything you could need was provided.

On short notice we booked a night in order to attend an evening reception in Mbabane. The proprietor was extremely welcoming, warm, and generously offered an extra available room so that our party of 3 would not be crowded in a single suite. The accommodations are spacious and quiet with a small veranda, shower, toilet and lavatory, kitchen (stocked with dishes, tableware, hot pot, microwave, stove, and refrigerator) seating area and comfortable beds.
The decor is bohemian and overall very cozy.

I had the luck to stay at Veki's village for more than a month. The place is absolutely amazing. All the cottages fully furnished and decorated with an amazing taste.
The staff is lovely, always making sure that nothing is missing (candles, gas for heat, gowns, towels, fans and anything that you will ask for)
The place is always clean, and the location is stunning (on the top of the mountain... lots of nature)
And of course is impossible not to mention Veki - the woman with the biggest heart in Swaziland. Always making sure that nothing is missing amd giving us an amazing sensation of home away from home.

Couldn't be more happy that I stayed here during my time in Swazi.
Highly recommended!!!

This is a very peaceful, quiet, serene, and all around pleasant place to stay. The daily housekeeping, laundry service, full kitchen, and electric blankets made my stay delightful. A guard house for the guards would be great too.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Veki’s Village. They are wonderful hosts. The room was super clean and cosy and decorated beautifully.

We had all amenities that we needed and Veki helped us arrange a few wonderful day trips to the local area.

There are some beautiful walking/hiking routes straight out the back of the property which are great to utilise.

We would happily stay here again as it’s great value for money and a lovely welcoming place to stay.

Veki's Village is a village self-catering cotages, ideal for expats on business trips or working in the country, like myself, but also for short stays.

I spent three months here and everything was perfect. Staff is friendly, always helpful with advice or connections. The cotages are fully equipped. There is even a pool and nice poolside parties from time to time.

Excellent experience.

Vekis village is a wonderful place. The huts are very spacious, well equipped and lie in the middle of green garden. You can go on various marked hiking trails directly from the property from where you have a great view over the surroundings. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and nice. Would definitely come back.

Veki's village took me by surprise. It surpassed my usual expectations of an overnight stay in a country lodge. The moment I walked in, I knew it would be difficult to leave. My unit had all the trappings of a modern apartment, yet outside of it, the stunning views of the hills and the valleys reminded me of the tranquillity so naturally present at this place. I hope to come back, and soon.

Great stay! Rooms were more than generous and well-appointed and great value for money. Location is close to CBD, but you don't feel this given the tropical and lush location. Definitely worth a stay and will be back.

I booked the place firstly on the 25 July and made payment. Then the next day the owner called and said that bookings booked me and there’s no rooms. Gave me a cheaper available room. Then upon arrival I hear that I did not pay but I did pay. They did not know how to claim from bookings. I will never sleep there again….

Response from Verica Beronja, Owner at Veki's Village - Self-Catering Cottages
Responded 16 Aug 2023
Booking.com doesn't take money from clients in Eswatini, only the Accommodation Establishments. The card was declind few times, even in her presence. She paid only on her second day of arrival, after contacting her bank. We have proof, this is a false accusation. We contacted her as we wanted to make sure she understood the layout of the cottage. She was happy with the arrangement. She is being vindictive towards our establishment as she thinks she paid in advance, which she did not.

All cottages are one bedrooms and studios. There are 2 cottages interlinked which can be opened and used as 2 bedroom.
