A simple and basic establishment, ideal for an overnight stay or short business trip. The breakfast was simple, but more than enough. There is a restaurant next door and Joe's Beer House is an easy stroll along the road.
One drawback is that there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom, which is sadly becoming the norm in modern bnb's. (There is room to fit a door, but maybe the budget could not cover it..?) Even stranger is the fridge and kettle facility, right alongside the bathroom.

Very well located, 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car from city centre. Great restaurant with fantastic food and friendly service. Just across the street you can find the amazing "joe's beer house" an absolute "must go" in Windhoek.
Very well decorated rooms, very friendly staff.
Probably one of the best relation price/quality in Windhoek .

Stayed in Kubata for only 1 night. The only room available was a deluxe twin at N$ 850 including breakfast. The room was excellent decorated in African Style. There was covered and secure car parking. A small pool, nice garden and a small menagerie. There was a Portuguese Restaurant next door which seemed to belong to the Hotel. The location was central and a few minutes walk to the famous Joes Beerhouse. Breakfast was excellent. We will stay there again.

What a lovely Hotel - comfortable and spacious accommodation. Lovely breakfasts, a nice swimming pool to cool off in. A restaurant that serves great food - we had two dinners in the restaurant whilst staying in the Hotel and good value for money.

Kubata is neat, clean, quiet and perfect for a night or two while on business in Windhoek. With a restaurant next door and basically across the road from Joe's beer house, which is a must visit, it is great.

On the up:
This is a pretty little B&B, and ideal for when you're sleeping over for 1 night. It's right across the street from Joe's Beer house, one of Windhoek's most famous bars.

The rooms are large, and equipped with air conditioning and TV. There's a small swimming pool and an animal cage with animals.

The place is good value for money.

On the down:
The animals cages do attract some flies.
The guest house will bore you if you stay more than 1 night.

We spent one night here after arriving in Namibia. Room was a reasonable price, breakfast was nice. However, room was designed to have a bit of a cave feel to it, which was a bit weird. Sofa bed for our son was not very comfortable. OK for one night, I wouldn't want to spend more than that here.
