Utilitarian rooms fairly close to the airport. This worked very well for us as we flew in one evening and rented a car to drive out the next morning. Our room was clean and comfortable enough. The beds were very firm. They were flexible with our “late” arrival, a little after 9pm, and kept the kitchen open for us so we were able to get dinner. There did not appear to be any food options nearby so we were thankful for this. The food for both dinner and breakfast was good. The shuttle from the airport worked well.

This hotel has an excellent location on a small hill, providing you with a nice view from their terrace and the pool, and close to the Airport. Their nice spacy rooms are great to sleep-off your jet-lag before you take the steering wheel. You don't have to go out for a meal since they serve nice food & drinks. Hildegard, the manager, provides you with all information needed and after taking their sumptuous breakfast you are ready to go!

Due an delayed flight we arrived 24 hrs later in Windhoek then planned. Since we had to find another place to stay the first night in Namibia we descided to stay at the Trans Kalahari Inn. We did not regret, checkin was swift and easy. After checking in we were just in time to enjoy our sundowner at the terrace. Dinner was fine and breakfast standard. Rooms are well spaced. Since we were just staying for the overnight and left early in the morning we cannot tell much about the surroundings. We had a nice informative conversation with the manager/owner at dinner.
