Travellers' Choice
The Naankuse Lodge & Wildlife Sanctuary is near the Airport and central Windhoek, on a 3.200 hectare big reserve. We offer Carnivore Feeding Tours, Bushman stories and stargazing dinners, Cheetah experiences and a “Behind the Scenes with Marlice” tour. Choose to stay in one of our six individual chalets or one of our 16 exclusive holiday homes. We offer a dining area with award-winning cuisine, stunning views, bar and swimming pool. A delightful blend of rich ethnicity and modern luxury. The Naankuse Lodge is the only Charity Lodge in Namibia, all profits from our lodge are returned back to our charitable projects. Naankuse supports the local San community and activities are led by the local San. Volunteers looking to help with conservation can join the Volunteer Program offered on the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary. The program offers volunteers the rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with and actively participate in the conservation of African wildlife.

A truly unique experience with a personalized feel. We were immersed in the marvellous game viewing and hospitality that only Namibia can offer. Netitia de Jager and her staff were fantastic and made it feel as though we were their primary priority. Exquisite food prepared by a world-class chef rounded off what is likely the best way you can spend your money.

My girls and I had the best time of our lives at Naankuse. We stayed in one of the villas and it was beautifully furnished and well equipped. The stuff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely the best place to visit as a group. The place offers privacy and we could party as loud as we wanted. We loved it.

We had booked this accommodation as our last treat in Namibia. Once we checked in we were shown to our Villa - a grand building. Very nice and homely accommodation with comfy beds. Enough Rooms and Bathrooms made life a little easier. The Manager was showing us around herself and cleared all questions. Dinner was delivered as it was COVID 19 Time. Unfortunately, we had a few queries/complaints the next morning. But the manager came immediately and rectified the situation. Reparations were done almost immediately and the treatment was superb. Dear Manager, thank you for making our stay an awesome and memorable stay. A bonus was all the animals we saw.... giraffes and elands at our Villa, and so much more during the Game Drive. We are looking forward to staying with you again.
