I stayed at this hotel for a month in November 2021 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff is very nice and tried to accommodate every request. The restaurant is very good, but at times it gets too busy. The rooms are very nice and spacious.

Latitude 13 is not just a great place to sleep. It is a great place to "live". Covid-19 measures are strictly adhered to. The bed sheets are always white and clean. Pillows and mattresses are therapeutic. A great night sleep is always guaranteed. I have stayed at this Hotel a number of times with my wife. It is by far the best Hotel experience in Lilongwe, one of the best in Malawi and one of my favourites in the world so far. The ambience is very romantic, rustic but very modern. The rooms feel like a New York city loft, others like luxurious room in an exquisite farm cottage. It is urban, yet infused with many elements of local Malawian culture. Much of the furniture and artifacts are beautifully made of recycled products. The food and drinks menu has great variety. The gym is modern and very well equipped. The pool is uniquely located in the middle of the court yard. Great to swim in at night. Apart from the Hotel experience it really has become to go to place for international business meetings and small conferences. Often times you will also experience Malawian urban art exhibitions and great live music performances. I strongly recommend Latitude 13 for the best Hotel and urban lifestyle experience in Lilongwe.

Latitude 13 is located in one of the best quarters in Lilongwe, it is a quiet place with lots of walking possibilities; the hotel has all amenities for an excellent stay, a beautiful garden and shady places for a coffee or do remote work sitting under a huge tree with your laptop; a big pool invites for cooling, the hotel also includes a gym and a spa; staff is extremely nice and restaurant services are professional and respond to customer´s needs; the food is excellent with different cuisines, local, Mediterranean and Indian. The chef looks well after the customers and includes feed-backs in the menu. Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day with free laundry services and free internet provided. The hotel is managed professionally and staff follows COVID 19 rules of distancing, wearing face masks and providing hand sanitizers. I definitely would stay here again and recommend everybody to come and visit this hotel either for a stay or lunch and dinner.

I stayed in a suite. it was not a good experience, the room was extremely noisy, i could hear every noise made by neighbors, as well as music coming from the common area. do not recommend this place for people who want to rest. I called room service in the evening. They told me they will check availability of what I ordered and called me back. They never got back to me. I had to check out at 6 am, and ordered a breakfast at 5 am. reception and restaurant agreed to organize it, confirmed several time, but in the morning nothing was available, despite several calls to reception.

Dear Noisette, We are very shocked about the bad experience you had during your recent stay at Latitude 13. There seems to have been a serious communication breakdown concerning the early breakfast for which I sincerely apologize. We do early breakfast on request on a regular basis for those leaving early. We will improve our system to avoid this happening again. The music you have heard didn't come from the "common areas" as we only have music inside lounge-bar and restaurant but it may have been a recent event on a neighbouring plot on which we do not have influence. The area we are located in is known as a very quiet and peaceful area which is confirmed by many other reviews.
