Great customer service and rooms. And just the perfect distance away from town which meant tranquility from all the bustle and noise of the city... A must for any traveller who isn't for the city but still wants to be close by... Would recommend this to just about anyone and families too...

Located along the road that leads from Mafeteng to Maseru, this is an excellent facility. The signage/directions need to be improved. The rooms were modern and well kept. This is a home away from home.

The name place of rest is not appropriate for this place. I made a booking three weeks ago and received confirmation through Booking.com of my reservation.
Dealing with Phomolo has been a harrowing experience for me and my travel companion. We had to make our way through serious traffic to get there. Then on arrival, Phomolo, which we had booked and CONFIRMED on three weeks prior acted surprised at our arrival and us being in possession of an email booking confirmation, which we presented. It seems that given our late arrival (still within their check-in policy) they had decided to give away the room, acting all surprised at our arrival since they claimed that they were full.
They then called another establishment, Village Court which was 10kms away from our original booking venue. We really were referred to a dive of a place which was barely habitable...The venue broke their end of the bargain and still made it our problem without remorse or concern. And then Booking.com still wanted to charge a cancellation fee.
This is one misadventure that was really unpleasant. Ha ho na Phomolo. There's no rest.

Excellent value for money, good clean rooms and friendly attentive staff. The location albeit a bit far out of the city is central and close to access roads. Our complete experience was only pleasant.

Staff were friendly and the room was very clean. Major challenge was with internet connectivity which was poor. I enjoyed the self-catering facilities which were well designed and well thought through.

Phomolo is a clean place outside Maseru. When we arrived, there was a mix up with out booking which was later resolved. It is a clean place albeit in a noisy area.
I think it must be made clear to guest that they are likely to share the flat with other guests. As this was a shock to us especially as we were traveling with a toddler.
I also think that better maintenance of the place is needed. i.e long nails were used to fix the door handle and this is a hazard as clothes can be hooked and torn by these.
