We were a bunch of friends camping for the weekend. Accomodation was afordable. We had lovely warm showers. Beautiful view of the river, birds and trees. Not far drive from MALETSUNYANE WATERFALLS . Left feeling rejuvinated! I will defnitely be going back and taking a few more friends along!

We arranged the booking from afar via Facebook, and arrived by mountain bike to Mary and Mark's wonderful retreat in Ramanbanta. We have a lovely meal entertaining & relaxing chat with our hosts, and were rejuvenated by the very comfortable Roundavel accomadation. I would not hesitate to stay again at Maluti Stay Lodge with Mary and Mark! Please see photo's of Maluti stay and the surrounding area which we've shared on their Facebook page

Comfortable rooms, lovely food and surrounded by nature. All made for a wonderful few days at Maluti Stay Lodge. We could not have asked for better hosts than Mark and Mary who went out of their way to make us comfortable. We will be back!

We were a group of friends and were looking for a place to stay near the Maletsunyane falls. By chance we were sent to Maluti Stay. The lodge is well situated and accessible to the highway. Mark and Mary did everything they could to make us feel at home regarding the info and food and the hospitality. It's not easy running a business in Lesotho but i definitely see a bright future for this place.

We love camping and this is not very common in Lesotho. At Maluti Stay Lodge, Mark and Mary went the extra mile to accommodate us and allowed us to have a campsite of our choice. It was beautiful to be on the river and so private. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable. They also had us "Covered" "Just in Case" it rained heavily there were rooms available for us to use. We camped for two nights and visited the beautiful Maletsuyane Falls which is not too far away. Stunning scenic drive. Thank you so much for the warm and friendly attitude you both have. Much love Arokia and Family _September 2018

We got to stay in a newly renovated rondavel that looked really beautiful in browns. The shower in the bath did not have a curtain, and for off-road bikers, we prefer rinsing the sweat and dust off, but the rest of it more than made up for that.
The owners were very tentative and let us use their private kitchen for cooking and washing line. Thanks for your friendliness and helpfulness in all regards, we had a great stay!

Fantastic cosy lodge run by a charming couple who are genuinely nice people. Superb service and good facilities, particularly their lovely rondavels. The staff and owners will go the extra mile to make you feel at home and ensure you have a great trip in Lesotho. Recommended!

I’m travelling for2 years, and it was my favorite place. We wanted to stay for only one night at the beginning, finally we extend for 4 nights. Is not far away from Maseru but enough for enjoy the beautiful landscape. Mark and Mary are really amazing ! So nice, helpful and honest
They are doing the best for the guests. The room is really good, so clean, and the staff do the most as possible. Everybody take care of you in this place.
About the food.... oh my good ....
They can do a perfect pizza or pasta like in Italia !!! Amazing for the local food as well. I already miss this food . Of course I will come back on this place one day. For love for lesotho and for this place. Mark organized for us a horse riding with Francis on the mountain ! He was really nice guys. We visiting village, try local honey, spend time with child, run with the horses on the beautiful top of mountain.
Everything for a good price. This lodge can be appeciate for all age, backpacker or travelers.

Xoxo !!!

Charlotte

the place is very peaceful and the staff is super friendly.
the rooms are ok, no fridges and no safe inside too. the electricity is a problem as it goes of now and then but its a great place if you want a peace of mind. Management needs to invest in fridges in the rooms, ice machine in the premises as we struggled with our drinks when we were there and a bigger kitchen too. we were treated like royalty indeed but the owners needs to invest to attract more clients.

An intoxicating and beguiling setting. This was more than a stopover for us - we based our entire 17 day trip to Lesotho at the lodge. We sought serenity and this place delivered! Our beautiful rondavel was a cool and comfortable retreat from the late summer heat. We both had the best nights sleep we’d ever experienced. Food rustic but lovingly prepared (try the pizza!). The couple running the site (the lovely Mary and the happy go lucky Mark) have a low key presence but are always on hand for whatever you might need. Highly recommended - next trip already planned.
