Hotel's Favourite
I love staying at La Villa Boutique whenever I'm in Accra, having visited many times. The rooms are spacious, featuring comfortable beds and showers, and they are consistently clean. The pool and restaurant area exude a cozy ambiance, and the staff is always friendly. The location is also excellent! If there's one minor drawback, it's the Wi-Fi, which isn't very fast and isn't ideal for video calls. Despite this, La Villa Boutique is the best place to stay in Accra!

From start to finish we had an amazing, magical stay at La Villa.
We were given a tour of the hotel and in the end decided to move from the up-scale Kepminsky. Staff were so incredibly helpful, available in arranging our reservation and we were given a preferential rate. As for the Villa itself, such laid back, effortless, elegance. Artfully decorated - just amazing ! Don't miss staying here !

+1
Pros: Central location, several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Responsive, courteous staff. Great on-site restaurant with lots of options and a nice breakfast buffet. Clean pool and nighttime activities, including movie nights.
Cons: Staff not all well-versed in English, which made communicating difficult at times. Rooms were NOT well-lit, which made makeup application a real challenge. And the cleaning crew stayed confused about bringing us the proper number of towels and washcloths.
Beautiful setting. Comfortable and accommodating.

The hotel was nice, breakfast was amazing, pool is lovely. The main problem was the 3rd night we stayed the cleaning came while we’re sleeping, so after we left we called the front desk and asked for housekeeping. We came back again and they didn’t do it so we called a second time. We left and came back and they still didn’t do it and we called a 3rd time, then we went to the front desk and asked as a 4th reminder. We came back and still no housekeeping. We called the front a 5th time and they said sorry but we’re leaving tomorrow so it’s too late now. We then requested towels And sheets and they did bring that but we ran out of toilet paper that night and had to use the restaurant bathroom because there was no toilet paper.

A program has been put in place to make up for this less-than-satisfactory experience, An email will be sent to you from management with the proposition. The very positive: the driver who picked me up was very cordial and helpful. We had to wait for another guest to arrive, and he waited for me while I got money from the ATM and showed me where to get a SIM. The receptionist was also very hospitable and gave us each a bottle of cold water, which was hugely appreciated.
The very negative: I am waiting in the reception because somehow, after calling and confirming my reservation and airport transfer, the room is not ready. I've been travelling for over 24 hours and jet lagged, and I have an 8:30 meeting tomorrow morning. I don't know what went wrong with the system, but having the actual room ready when a guest arrives this late should be a basic feature of the hospitality industry. I'll be very happy to amend or add to this review if it's justified, but right now I have a lot of time in my hands and no place to rest. Obviously this has nothing to do with the receptionist herself, but the bottom line does not change. I'm sitting at reception without a room.

Overall La Villa Boutique Hotel was a complete charm. The location was perfect to everything nearby like food, shopping, beaches, museums, and easily accessible for catching a cab ride to and from places. If you prefer to walk, the location is completely safe! The hotel safe was nice and I would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this small hotel. Located conveniently in Osu close to the ‘action’, it’s uniquely old school feel made this hotel a winner for us. It felt suitably tropical with all the lush greenery surrounding the pool which made it feel like a watering hole out in the forest somewhere.
Good service throughout & nice meals when we ate in rather than out in Osu. Interesting people, some just coming for a drink at the bar by the pool & Dennis a regular fixture responsible for curating most of the African art carvings & so on that decorate the public areas of the hotel but are also for sale. He is an interesting conversationalist!
Our room, was a good size & comfortable as well as nicely decorated to reflect the general theme throughout the hotel, however… the shower ‘cubicle’ let it down badly! It was in dire need of refurbishment as the mastic joint between shower tray & glass had a lot of mould on it & was badly discoloured. Basically it was unacceptable for the standard of room & hotel. Shower cubicles & bathrooms are spaces that need constant monitoring so that they are always scrupulously clean & they had obviously taken their eye off the ball here.
The other thing that was irritating to say the least were the copious amounts of mosquitos out at the pool seating area in the evening. As much as the staff tried to provide anti-mosquito spray & smoke emitting coils at each table it could not stop us getting bitten.
Despite the couple of irritations we enjoyed our stay & would love to stay there again.

Stayed twice - short stay in apartment, and longer stay in the executive suit.
My review reflects both type of rooms, and hotel services.
The apartment alone is not worth a 5 star, the suit is. The apartment needs an upgrade. The suit was excellent.
Hotel staff was very helpful on all issues, friendly, and minor issues addressed quickly.
Location is very good, if osu's area has what you need.
Breakfast was better then expected than the hotel's rank, and food at large is very good.
Room service, laundry and room cleaning were excellent.
Exchange of money like in most hotel is not recommended due to horrible rate. 3 mn walk toward Honeysuckle and you have a better option (marina and golden tulip are the best).
Nice place to hang arround the pool and reasonably priced drinks.
All in all highly recommended.

Very friendly team, excellent location for transport to Sights and Airport. Great rooms for solo, family and highlight was the hotel green grounds and choices of food items at Breakfast including a delicious Ghanaian jollof rice.
Acknowledging reception for accommodating my late booking and having my room comfortably ready for my arrival.
Views around the hotel is wonderful and it give the exotic feel. Love from Denmark, Alfred 🖤❤️

We had a great stay, firstly in a suite and after returning from a trip outside Accra we then stayed in a room. Both accommodations were extremely comfortable and very stylishly decorated. Spacious bathrooms with good showers.
Good selection of items at the buffet breakfast, with well-brewed coffee. Relaxed poolside seating. They should have more Ghanaian food on the dinner menu!
The best thing was the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They made us feel very welcome, had useful tips about places to go in Accra, transport arrangements etc.
Also a good location close to shopping, bars etc
I think it might be the best boutique-style hotel I’ve stayed in!
