Ethiopian Airlines offer a free overnight hotel if your layover is more than 8 hours. Mine was 12. Stayed in this clean friendly hotel. Great sleep in a huge bed. Hot running water in the shower. And airport shuttle as well.

The Adot Tina Hotel is aparently popular, by Addis Ababa standard this can be understood. However! Some roms are not clean, some smells awfull in the bathroom. Check the room before night!! And demand new if nessesary. Good breakfast and worth USD40 night.
This is a 1-star Hotel with a 4-star price. The rooms are small and cheaply maintaned and fitted. Upon checkin, the a lot of things was not working in my room. The front desk lady was very nice and moved me to another room - with the same problem. she offers me a third room,…
The Adot Tina hotel is a nice mid-range hotel to stay at. The beds are a bit hard but the rooms are clean and adequate. The Wi-Fi works well and the breakfast is good. It is a convenient 10 minute drive from the airport with a reliable shuttle service.
"smell before booking!"
"almost every thing is Broken, carleslly mantained, and wifi is not properly working of course awful customer service!!"
"Upgrade and go for a junior suite - the little extra in the price is well worth it..."
"rooms on the eastern side are quiter,,,butrooms also on the western helps you to see whats going on the streets around you."
"The hotel has two parts - the main building with nice European-style very good rooms and a separate small building with a small garden in front. There is one big room with facilities. Though the quality is somewhat worse compared to the main building, it has an atmosphere of privacy."
