Really beautiful chalets set in thick Botswana Bush. Plenty of birds, insects and flora and the best part is it's 20 minutes away from the city center, ideal for business! The staff are super friendly and accommodating and the pool is warm and blue. WiFi is reliable and the chalets have a fridge, fan and mosquito net. Just make preparations for food in the evening and afternoon (breakfast is included) as the restaurant does not operate beyond breakfast.

We stayed here on the way back from Moreni and Chobe national parks. We booked on booking.com and chose this place because it has a restaurant!! (according to the info on booking.com) and we were looking forward to sit down for a meal prepared by someone else after having camped for 2 weeks. We gave away all leftover food and bbq supplies the night before and arrived here after a long drive only to hear that the restaurant is not operational!! Huge disappointment as we had to drive back to town to get food and we had to buy wood again!

But, this is a really nice place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Gaberone, spacious chalets with hot water showers, a swimming pool and friendly service.

A very comfortable and peaceful alternative to hotel accommodation
They offer everything you need in terms of connectivity and facilities
Accommodating, from setting up a temporary office in our chalet to hosting the Nando's teams from South Africa involved in the new Nando's Phakalane Drive Thru
Serves a hearty breakfast and great coffee
Compliments to the Chef for the dinner served - tender fillet, chicken, sausage, salads and even homemade bread

My friend and I spent one night at the campsite. Everything was really nice, the camp site is quite big, quiet, the showers are amazing. Everything is clean. We could enjoy the pool and have a breakfast.
The cook was really nice and cared about our experience. We definitely recommend it!!

Lovely remote location, just 15 minutes from Gabs, perfect for getting away from the city. We had a great week there with our 2 boys. The accommodation is perfect for the bush environment, neat and tidy chalets with comfortable beds, and thoroughly enjoyed traditional food on the braai. Martina is a very accommodating host, nothing too much trouble, all adds to the nice relaxing atmosphere around the place where we met guests from Australia, England, Germany and of course Botswana! Highly recommended!

Arrived late after all day tar road drive from South Africa. What a pleasure to crash down at a rural bush lodge on the way up North. Chalets are amazing. Spacious and my version of bush luxury. Loved the tranquillity and evening barbecues. Excellent spot for camping too. Staff are friendly and attentive and wifi actually works. Recommending to all travellers heading that way.

I travelled to Gaborone for business and stayed at the African Casa for two nights. As I enjoy being in the open air and to braai for myself, the staff accommodated me with no hesitation. The staff are very friendly, breakfast was very good and the chalets are well serviced, clean and neat! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you African Casa, see you again!

I travelled to African Casa for a family holiday to Africa. It was the 1st time ever so we needed a good base camp. African Casa was everything we expected in terms of the beaitiful location, charming rustic accomodation in free standing large rooms and so much help from our gracious hosts. We will definetely be back

I thoroughly enjoyed my extended stay at the Casa, it's only 10 minutes from a modern shopping mall and 20 minutes drive to central Gaborone. An ideal location for the corporate traveller looking for an alternative to hotel accommodation. Rural bush location with birdlife and clear a night sky. The accommodation is comfortable and staff always friendly and accomodating. The central facilities are suitable for functions and larger parties. Ideal for business or just relaxing.
