The staff were very friendly and there was a communal kitchen that was very clean that one could make use of. I had no problems making our breakfast there and using their crockery, which was very clean to use. The ablutions was extremely neat, well kept and tidy and the staff constantly swept and cleaned the ablutions. It was a pleasure to stay at a place like this where everything was so well kept and tidy and clean. I will definitely recommend this place to people who are considering a more budget friendly accommodation option.

This backpackers is like a little oasis next to Gaborone. I had a wonderful long stay there and the staff was amazing. The area is calm and peaceful. You will be by walking distance to the Mokolodi Nature Reserve that is well worth a visit (you can walk in the bush, rent bikes and do some game drives to). The place is super clean, I think it one of the nicest backpackers I have been to. Prices are reasonable. There is a sauna that you can use for extra money, and a swimming that must be very nice in summer. A plus: the good internet connection in case you need to work or connect for other reasons. Thank you all for welcoming me I had a memorable time !

Absolutely lovely place. The grounds are very well-tended, green and tranquil. There are accommodation options for various budgets, including a luxury rondavel. The staff are very helpful, available, and look after the property carefully. As a bonus there are several friendly pet animals living in the garden. It’s self-catering and there are two very nice places to go and eat which are a short drive away: Mokolodi Bush Kitchen and Zorro Restaurant.

Looking for an overnight stay near Gaberone? This is your place. We we received in the most friendly and welcoming manner. The place is in a residential area but has a farm feel to it with chickens, a pig named Peanut and a dog named Lizzie running around. Exceptionally clean and neat. We made use of the campsite and would definately recommend.

Super clean, great location, extreme friendly staff and owner. They have a very friendly dog, a hairy pig and funny chicken running around. Our daughter (8 month) loved it to watch them while having breakfast. Anytime again!!! Home away from home!!

This backpackers is slightly off the beaten track and an amazing getaway from everything you don't want in the city. The hosts are wonderful, kind and very accommodating. Lizzy was especially a delight loving belly rubs and just loving in general (pitbull). Highly recommended stay over or base to explore Botswana from.

I'm currently enjoying my second stay here at Mokolodi. This is one of my favorite places in this planet and I've been around the block a few times! It's an oasis in the African bush. A place where your soul can sing. The setting is perfect to decompress from the stress of life. It's truly a sanctuary. The staff is fantastic! Their genuine kindness is touching. Everything is perfectly clean and comfortable. The entertainment area is complete with a café and pool table plus arm chairs and... hammock chairs 😍 There's a pool and sauna. The prices are the cheapest I've found and it's quite close to the game reserve. You really can't ask for more!
