The memories of KINGDOM hotel will remain with me, it was awesome and I have no complains, awesome food, awesome views if there is one thing kingdom has taught its staff its LOVE AND HUMILITY, enjoyed my say the wifi is super fast everything is on point within 100 meters to the falls I had brought my wife for her birthday
Overall we had a very pleasant stay. It was sad to see how empty the hotel was due to COVID, it lacked the usual buzz of a busy hotel. The position is great for walking to the falls. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant.
Will start by commending such a beautiful hotel and place. The hotel is beautiful especially the architecture and maintenance. Well done! Booked 6 nights via phone and decided to stay 5 , we thought we fully paid for the 5 nights but somehow our rate went up ! Upon checkout we were told there is nothing on your room .. until we asked about the laundry we had done , (because that’s the only extra we had - all meals they ask you to settle cash) .. that’s when we were told that we owed a one night stay which was even more strange as we checked out a night before , we didn’t want to argue and paid and left .. The room 1073 had no WiFi connection at all ! Upon check in I had highlighted that I really need to be updating some work stuff using WiFi, we called reception and they told us that on their side it shows the wifi is working! Someone eventually came to the room and checked our connections and realized there was no network . We then asked if we could be moved closer to the rooms with WiFi but they said they were fully booked .. Room was not up to what we expected - well we booked a standard room so maybe .., but the housekeeping team was superb and would do a great job cleaning and changing linen and towels supper impressed We experienced some terrible sound so loud that we couldn’t sleep some nights , it seemed to be coming from room next to us 1074 (it was the sound of moving furniture -that terrible sound when someone pushes a wooden chair) it was extreme as if it’s in our room , we heard it the first night and we ignored until it went on for days and nights at some point 2am until the other day it woke us up at 6am that’s when i called the duty manager “Zulu” who brushed it off saying it could be a dog barking but we did explain to him that it’s furniture being moved then he said he would send the housekeeping team to check and that was it ! We had the sound for 5 days ! On the 30th of December around 8pm I ordered room service and it was never delivered until I fell asleep hungry ... I addressed all these issues with their guest service agent on the 31st and she was apologetic , the same night our room service took exactly 1hr 45 minutes to be delivered .. We ordered breakfast packs as we planned to leave at 6am before the breakfast room opens .. the guest service agent assured us that it would be delivered to our room at exactly 05:30 , at 06:00 we were at reception asking for our packs and we were told they didn’t know about it and had to wait 20 more minutes .. I’m in the hospitality industry and I really expected better from the great Kingdom 😞…
I enjoyed my stay at Kingdom, it was quite an experience especially the day I checked in when we were greeted with a traditional welcome by traditional dancers playing their musical instruments. We really felt like king and queen on our reception.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel. From the minute that we arrived, until we left, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The carefully constructed style and attention to detail was evident everywhere. We felt like we were in Africa without it being over the top. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were amazing and helped us book a Private Game Reserve Safari. We were close enough to walk to the Falls, but be aware of the street sellers along the way, they can be very persistent. The hotel is also in walking distance to the town and craft markets. It also has a Casino and shops inside that have beautifully crafted animals. Lovely gifts and treasures. We would all thoroughly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it.
