The hotel has a cozy vibe and only 20 rooms. It offers a butler-style concierge service, but be aware that things move at a slower pace, which I guess is just part of the African experience. The views of the Zambezi National Park from the communal lounge were unreal, especially at sunset.
We booked a suite at the Safari Club, which featured a small lounge area with a couch and chairs. However, the room’s layout didn’t fully meet expectations. The lounge area was rather dark, with limited natural light due to its positioning and a small window. This made the space less inviting to use, and we found ourselves spending more time on the bed or at the desk where the lighting was better. The furniture felt somewhat dated, which detracted from the otherwise luxurious experience.
The open-plan bathroom was spacious, with a rainfall shower, a freestanding bathtub, and a single basin. Despite the ample space, the suite lacked a view of the large watering hole, which is one of the property’s main attractions. The room does overlook a small watering hole that seems to attract birds, but none of the big animals that we saw visit the watering hole directly in front of Victoria Fall Safari Lodge, which is situated on the same property.
Additionally, the proximity to the family rooms and the nearby Drum Restaurant meant occasional noise, which could be bothersome if you’re seeking complete tranquillity or a romantic weekend without children. The Safari Club is worth considering, particularly if you’re seeking luxury and a close connection to nature. However, if uninterrupted peace and the best views are a priority, you might want to explore the rooms at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, which overlook the watering hole where you would be able to see buffalo, elephant, buck etc from your room and are further from the Drum Restaurant.
Tip for the hotel owners or management - Despite the hotel having all my passport information, including my date of birth, no staff member acknowledged that I celebrated my birthday while staying with them. It would have been an extremely nice gesture that showed they truly offered a personalised experience, and it would have taken seconds to do.

Dear Leigh Thank you for your detailed feedback. I’m pleased you enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, the butler-style service, and the breathtaking views from the private lounge. I understand your concerns regarding the views from the Safari Club Suites. While the Safari Club does not directly overlook the main waterhole like the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, it offers a unique perspective with views of a smaller waterhole that attracts warthogs, bucks and a variety of birdlife, providing a different but still enriching wildlife experience. I also apologize for missing the opportunity to acknowledge your birthday. Personalized touches are important to us, and I’ll ensure our team pays closer attention to such special occasions in the future. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We hope to have the chance to offer you a more tailored experience on a future visit.

This was a perfect hotel, so peaceful and relaxing. Our standard room was large and comfortable I got up early every morning just to sit on the balcony and take in the wonderful views and watch the different wildlife coming down to the water holes. I was amazed by the complimentary things available which included free laundry service, free bar service in the rooms that were filled daily, afternoon tea and then later evening cocktails. The outside grounds were beautifully maintained and the swimming pool and area was clean; water a great temperature for someone like me who hates cold water. The staff were all wonderful and went out of their way to make it one of the most pleasant and relaxing part of our holiday. I would recommend the Safari Club to anyone and just regret that we were only there for 3 nights.

We did a lot of research on where to stay and it really paid off. If you prefer staying somewhat out of the hustle and bustle of Vic Falls and have a Bush Lodge Experience in mind, Victoria Falls Safari Club ticks all the boxes. Looking for a more upmarket option, lower occupation and more personalized service the “Club” is the better alternative to the “Lodge” having fewer rooms and dedicated butlers tending to guests’ every needs. The setting is superb with an open air lounge, viewing deck, restaurant all under one roof. Rooms have all the necessary amenities and we just loved the Nespresso machines. We were pleasantly surprised by a greeting card and bottle of Bubbly celebrating our wedding anniversary. With a regular complimentary shuttle service into town and the falls getting to where you need to be is easy and convenient. Our butler arranged for a taxi because of our movements out of these scheduled times which suited us better. He also arranged all other activities. The food is great and we enjoyed good breakfasts, afternoon tea and snacks, pre-dinner drinks and canapés and dinner. The staff serenading every night during dinner was a special touch. The fact that the Club is situated in a “no-fly zone” ensures you enjoy the sounds of the bush without the constant noise of helicopters flying over the falls. The staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is wonderful. Our butlers Wonder and Panache as well as Tracy from housekeeping made a special impression. We paid a visit to the Spa and found the service good value for money with friendly and efficient therapists. Most definitely a place to strongly recommend.

Let me make one thing clear as it took me forever to figure out the difference, both the Vic Falls Safari Club and Vic Falls Safari Lodge are the same facility. Vic Falls Safari Club is the more expensive premium section. I am now commenting on the Vic Falls Safari Club. The room/ suite really shocked me with the space, the design, cleanliness and particularly the mosquito net which was very effective (I have to say I didnt see a single mosquito inside the room during my stay eventhough there were many of them outside in the morning). I had a very exclusive service. You do feel like a VIP in an African-Safari version of an Emirates airport lounge with fresh drinks, quietness and abundance of nature around you. Excellent well prepared omelette. You can see antelope while having breakfast (bring powerful zoom phones/ cameras). A/C was brand new and modern. I loved the experience. Very different not comparable to others.

What a wonderful end of our 2-week visit to the African continent! The facility was beautiful & calm; the staff helpful, friendly & so responsive to our needs. The food was delicious & varied, while the drinks were tasty. Our massages at the spa, both whole body & foot, were some of the best we’d ever had & the prices very reasonable. I cannot recommend staying here enough!

To begin our stay in the Victoria Falls Area, we were very warmly welcomed by the staff and the safari club manager, Lin. She had treated us exceptionally well. Lin greeted us to great care that is hard to describe in words. She had even personally came out of her own way to assist us in crossing the, at the time, blocked Zambezi borders to catch our flight. No doubt that our room had a perfect panoramic view, in respect to decoration, aesthetics, and cleaning, all were 10/10. They had provided us amenities such as insect repellent. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant while watching the beauty of the African wildlife. While eating dinner or watching the sunset at the pool area, many animals such as elephants and herds of buffalos would come to the waterhole. It was a sight to see. Taking the river cruise nearby is also a must, good wildlife and hospitable staff who made us laugh! Watching the endangered vultures feed on meat at the "vulture restaurant" was also a very memorable experience. We were educated on the importance of vultures by the very knowledgable vulture guide. All in all, this hotel is really a paradise, I would recommend 100% to come and enjoy this paradise. Again, during our 3 day stay, I am very thankful to the hotel manager, Lin, from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care for my son and I. We absolutely loved this stunning and fabulous hotel and will come again!

I can say what I need to say in one word— perfection! Why do I need to use 200 words when I only need that one. The staff, the food, the room, the service, the location, the waterhole where you could see the animal coming to drink, the birds especially the vultures gathering for their feeding time. They arrived like clockwork at the same time every day. It was a fantastic experience to spend 3 days there & our group of 28 people would have loved to stay longer if we could have.❤️

Incredible staff, wonderful facilities, and an epic location. I cannot say enough good about this property or the folks who work there. The service was outstanding and we anti to especially recognize Noku, Hugh, Zeb, Tracy, Handsome, and Steven amongst everyone else for being great hosts.
Booking activities through the desk was easy and they were always on time and as described.
Food options at the property were great, with the chef regularly trying new things and asking for guest feedback. Good variety of vegetarian friendly options too! Make sure to go to the Drum and dance show (bomba room?) for one of your nights, and bring some energy to participate!
Grounds were very nice and shout out to the Vulture Educator for the fun daily meet and greet with the local vultures.
Happy hour, breakfast, turn down service, poolside- everything is done perfectly. Can’t wait to return!!

We stayed in Victoria Falls for 3 nights in mid-July and can confirm that we did experience the electricity outage as well as intermittent water supply challenges. I must however state that the staff at the lodge at which we stayed went out of their way to ensure that we were not horribly inconvenienced. The larger hotels like the Safari Club probably have their own generators which they are able to run for longer periods than the smaller establishments. Water was brought in for emergency use in bathrooms and we didn't experience any issues around food scarcity in Victoria Falls. We were always able to access a taxi to get around town and the tour operators try really hard to ensure that the fuel shortage challenges do not affect their clients.
Yes, the wildlife is less, as it is too close to the rooms, however you can still see wildlife at the main watering hole. I have stayed at both the lodge and the safari club.
The beauty of the safari club rooms is the comfort and luxury. The hospitality is the best I have experienced.
We look forward to hosting you! There is a complimentary shuttle that runs throughout the day from 07h40 until 22h00 and you will be given a detailed map and orientation upon arrival.
Safe travels and see you soon!
Best regards,
Dustin Kennedy.
