You know you are heading for somewhere special when you are treated to the most incredible drive into the lodge. Colossal baobabs greet you on the road side, the Zambezi River smiles back at you with each twist and turn in the road and it seems like each time you drive around the elephants are always out to give you a show. Things get even better from there though. When you arrive you feel like you are at your own little private bush camp where the staff feel like family, the rooms are tastefully done in order for you to enjoy every creature comfort but still feel like you are in the African bush and the food served up is simply heavenly (city chefs should come here and take note of the magic created). All of the above washed down with a cold beer and another perfect African sunset makes this one of the best gems in all of southern Africa!

We had such a brilliant time at Siam Simba! The team were amazing and made us feel really welcome at every touch point - the collection from the airport, the game drives, the sunset boat cruises and the brilliant hospitality team. They also went to a huge effort to make sure we saw the falls before our flight out. Big thank you to Bon, Talent, Kasey, Gary, Savannah and all the team behind the scenes. The food was excellent! The lodge was in a beautiful location - we saw the sunrise and sunset every day over the river, the tents were nicely fitted out with comfy beds and the lodge itself was a lovely place to relax a long with the pool. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks so much for having us!

We camped for 2 nights and spent a night in the Lodge.
Camp site has excellent facilities and has well grassed areas so the best place to camo in Zambezi I think. Also had elephant, hippo and leopard in the camp.
The lodge is a tented camp and they are really comfortable and well situated with the river fronted ones having a view of the river. Our hosts Gary, Savannah and Jordan were exceptionally helpful and the game walk was one of the best, even though the wind was up and we did not see much. Gary and Willard were very knowledgeable and added to the enjoyment. Food was also good, and the lounge has stunning views of the river as well. It is also far enough up from the river not to have helicopters flying over continually which adds to the tranquility.
When you visit ask the Parks office for the quick rout around, which requires you to go back through Vic Falls and then back on the Kazangula road for 16 km (there is a parks gate there but you have to pay your entrance at the main gate in Vic Falls). That road takes you right into the Lodge and takes about 50min which is a much quicker drive than the 2+hrs from the main gate.

We will return to this lovely destination as fast as we can ! It's in the National Park, and we certainly were treated to some special sightings, notably a family of Sable Antelope and great birdlife, but it's the accommodation, the camp facilities, the staff, the food and the spectacular riverside setting that will really pull us back. Vegans and vegetarians in our group were more imaginatively catered for than anywhere else we have stayed. Staff literally bent over backwards to keep us safe and happy, without intruding on the privacy that is a privileged part of the experience. An infinity pool allowed us to "cool off with a view". Sturdy, spacious, airy tents with great en suite bathrooms nd generous mosquito nets encouraged good sleep and general lolling about. I could ramble on. Go see for yourself 😀

We've spent 2 wonderful days at Sian Simba River Lodge at the beginning of May - the staff is warm, kind and very caring, the food is delicious and the lodges are extremely comfortable and well equipped, right at the banks of the majestic Zambezi River.
The game drive we were taken by the amazing Shannon, the camp professional guide, was an experience we will never forget - the wildlife is fantastic and we were so lucky to see so many of them - a big herd of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, kudu, hyena, zebras.
Thank you Shannon, thank you Savanna and the rest of the team. You are really special
