From the pick-up at the airport till checking out on our last day was absolutely fantastic! The highlight was taking a bath on the veranda looking over the Zambezi - bliss. Beautifully furnished, super comfortable luxury tents! Staff also amazing - friendly and helpful.

First of all, this trip was given to me as a gift from my boss so I didn't know what to expect. BEST GIFT EVER! My husband and I were able to cram in all the activities into one day only because the team there made it possible. Caleb met us at the airport with a sign with our name on it. He was so friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to have him as our guide at the falls. He has a lot of knowledge about the area and his personality was that of a good friend. JB took us on the Game Drive and he made the experience totally enjoyable. We saw a ton of animals! We took a helicopter ride that I highly recommend followed by the river cruise. Richard was our tour guide for the river cruise and he was so much fun. Richard loves his job and you can totally tell. He is passionate about the wildlife and customer service. Impressive! Overall, we wish we had a lot more time there to enjoy and relax. We will be back!

Traveling to Africa for many is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As well as seeing all the amazing wildlife, my wife was captivated by waking up and witnessing a beautiful sunrise over the Zambezi river. The lightly rolling mist hugging the surface on the water, the African bush waking up, all while sitting in bed with an early morning cup of tea. The tented accommodations were all superb, right on the Zambezi river, food and service outstanding. Our game drive far exceeded our expectations, seeing a herd of almost a hundred elephants and a herd of almost a hundred plus buffalo was unforgettable. Our guide was knowledgeable and he gave us everything to ensure us an experience of a lifetime. Collectively all the staff contributed to a first-class experience. There are only a few select destination Safari locations that can offer this exceptional experience. If your bucket list is to visit Victoria Falls while staying in nature, the Old Drift Lodge is defiantly well worth staying at. Thank you for an amazing experience. Two days was far too short and suggest a minimum of 3 days or more. Thankyou

What a place....absolutely beautiful, probably the best lodge we’ve stayed in, in Zimbabwe! Friendly, efficient staff and great food. Rooms were very spacious with all mod cons, very comfortable bed and beautifully decorated. We’ll be back to stay in September to do some rafting!

It was a beautiful weekend from the time JB picked us up at the airport until he dropped us off. JB's warmth made me content that as the holiday planner of the household, I had done well. Farai and the team welcomed us at the hotel, and the first cocktail was a winner. We settled in well and it was amazing how beautiful, comfortable and luxurious the suite was. I couldn't wait to enjoy the outdoor shower and tub while taking in the views of the Zambezi River. The cookies in the jar are to die for, certainly not for weight watchers. Lesley, Farai and the team also did a great job with planning out our activities and they didn't disappoint. From the sunset cruise to the afternoon game drive, ot was very relaxing and the animals and birds didn't disappoint either. The sunset picnic by the beach was my major highlight, what a sight it was. We watched the sunset while chillint and snacking overlooking the Zambezi River, I was giggling and blushing most of the time, it was beautiful and a perfect way to end a day spent watching vultures, light lunch at Lookout café and touring the Falls. Waking up to the sound of hippos, birds and warthogs was a much needed change from the hustle and bustle of Harare, Old Drift Lodge gave us joy and beautiful memories were created. We look forward to returning in the near future, I have a few more boxes to tick.
