Beautiful property with friendly and attentive hosts. Great attention to detail in terms of guest’s needs. Security is extremely good. Great location with close proximity to all amenities. Guest information fanatic.
Lovely place, The rooms are very nice and the gardens are amazing to relax. The sympathy of the owners and employees is top. They are always keen to provide support. Home away from home in Harare. Must stay.
The owner of the guest house is very hands-on and accommodating to my requests. The rooms are clean, neat, and cozy. Its located in a good area of Harare and is security controlled. I felt very safe. It has a beautiful garden, making for a relaxed, homely enviroment.
Second visit to Jacana Gardens. The first time was 8 (!) years ago on a business trip. I really loved it then. Sweet memories, felt safe and taken care of. This time we stayed together as part of our holiday nature tour in Zimbabwe. We were totally impressed how the owners succeeded to even further improve this wonderful place which was already perfect in my memory. Once you pass the gate the lush gardens filled with art welcome you like entering into a true garden of Eden. Lovely staff, the core of whom was already there 8 years ago, doing an excellent solid job to make your stay memorable.
I visited this beautiful establishment in February 2022 on business. The accommodation was stunning with artwork in and around the property. The atmosphere was relaxing, scenery was superb and serene. Riaan and her staff were fantastic. Riaan was lovely to talk to, I still miss our chats! Please visits Jacana Garden Guest Lodge, you will not be disappointed!
Family Reunion in Zimbabwe post pandemic lockdowns etc. Jacana was our Harare base and what a base it was! So homely, safe and peaceful. Amazing hospitality from Rian and her staff. Very accommodating of our needs. Good chats and laughs with the host :-) The Feng Shui of the main house is inspiring. The brilliant art work all over the lodge showcases the talent of the Zimbabwean artists. The beautiful landscaped gardens uplifting. We would highly recommend Jacana Gardens Guest Lodge and we look forward to returning.
Our family (no kids) spent one night at Jacana Gardens and loved the peacefulness, beauty and warm welcome of this special place in Harare. Rian was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. Jacana Gardens Lodge is a little spot of heaven in busy Harare.
We recently spent 4 days Jacana Gardens and highly recommend. The landscaped grounds are very peaceful and serene with patio tables to enjoy the quiet. Security is tight while allowing easy entrance and exit with 24 hour availability. The host is welcoming and attentive. All house staff is pleasant and helpful. The common space in the main house is beautiful and tastefully decorated.
I stayed for three weeks. Room is very clean and the garden is very very beautiful. Also, Hotel staffs are very helpful. Great beakfast, espacially Zimbabwean fruit. Most of all, I was impressed by Ms Riana's, Lodge Owner's, hospitality.Zimbabwean art, such as stone sculptures, in the lodge is also highlight.I highlly recommend you to stay at this lodge/hotel.
This is my second stay in Jacana Gardens and much like my last visit it was a delight. My return to Zimbabwe has been a long time coming and my trip was arranged at the last minute, as I snatched an opportunity to return. Rian and Willem responded admirably to my ever changing schedule, including accommodating my wish to cook for myself during what was a longer than normal visit and were on hand to arrange a PCR test at the end of my stay. All the staff at Jacana are warm and friendly, which makes staying there even more pleasant. If that were possible! Staying at Jacana is highly recommended, the gardens are wonderful and match the overall atmosphere of calm and relaxation that the hosts aim to provide. Getting to Jacana is straightforward and its well located just past the intersection of Borrowdale Road and Harare Drive and close to Sam Levy's Village which has a great mix of restaurants and shops.…
