Our experience at Namiri Plains was a great one. At this camp, they do group game drives, so we were paired with another couple to go out and see game. We did see a lot - and we were in a relatively quiet part of the park, so we didn't encounter many other vehicles there. We had some wonderful opportunities...

After spending our first 2 nights at Kimondo we arrived at Namiri Plains and was blown away! The camp is very luxurious with breathtaking views over the Plains (which you can also enjoy from your own private outdoor shower)! We chose Namiri Plains for its famous big cats and it certainly did not disappoint. During our 3 night stay we...

This camp is very special, a superb setting with the tents overlooking an incline frequented by wildlife from elephants to lions. The tents are large, with lots of room. During our visit in February even though the days were very hot the tents were cool and comfortable for resting. The beds are large and comfortable and the shower was hot...

This was our third camp in the bushes, and 5th over all, in our African getaway. Three of them were from Asilia and they were all of very high standard, with great facility ,great food, great guide etc...What set this Camp apart is the staff. Don't get me wrong . All the staff at all the Asilia camp were great...

This was an excellent camp to stay in with friendly staff and knowledgeable guides. A great place to experience the truly magical Serengeti. There was plenty of wonderful food and the early morning room service was an additional delight. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at Namiri Plains Camp for 5 nights as part of a fly-in trip to the Serengeti in May 2016. Prior to staying at Namiri, we stayed at Dunia Camp for 3 nights, which proved to be a very nice (as well as easy) combination, as the 2 areas are different and the camps offer complementary experiences. Namiri is...

We had a wonderful experience here. The tents are spacious and comfortable with everything but a place to charge your batteries, which have to be taken to the lounge. Solar does the lights. The staff is wonderful and the food was good. Being at the far edge of the national park, it minimizes the completion from other camps. The wild...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
For 20 years, the grasslands of the Eastern Serengeti were closed to tourists to allow the cheetah population to replenish itself. Today, this is big-cat territory, where cheetah roam the area in pursuit of prey, and lion and leopard hunt undisturbed. In 2014, the region reopened with Asilia appointed as its custodian. Guests can enjoy this incredible corner of the Serengeti from the comfort of cool and elegant Namiri Plains. Expansive views, serious comfort, exceptional privacy and unrivalled sightings of apex predators in a region of the Serengeti come together to give you an exclusive and action-packed safari experience. ... more   less
