This was our third camp in the bushes, and 5th over all, in our African getaway. Three of them were from Asilia and they were all of very high standard, with great facility ,great food, great guide etc...What set this Camp apart is the staff. Don't get me wrong . All the staff at all the Asilia camp were great...

As part of our two week Safari we had the luck to snag reservations at this fabulous tented camp. There are no other tented or even other camp sites as far as the eye can see and it is set in a small tree forest that is shared with ions, water buffalo, cheetahs, zebras as well as many varieties of birds...

Great remote location to see predator cats; did not see ever other tourists from outside camp; good food and excellent, attentive staff that made us feel special; knowledgeable guides that made wildlife viewing and learning amazing; glamping at its finest

This was an excellent camp to stay in with friendly staff and knowledgeable guides. A great place to experience the truly magical Serengeti. There was plenty of wonderful food and the early morning room service was an additional delight. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at Namiri Plains Camp for 5 nights as part of a fly-in trip to the Serengeti in May 2016. Prior to staying at Namiri, we stayed at Dunia Camp for 3 nights, which proved to be a very nice (as well as easy) combination, as the 2 areas are different and the camps offer complementary experiences. Namiri is...

We had a wonderful experience here. The tents are spacious and comfortable with everything but a place to charge your batteries, which have to be taken to the lounge. Solar does the lights. The staff is wonderful and the food was good. Being at the far edge of the national park, it minimizes the completion from other camps. The wild...

Tucked away from most other safari vehicles, our stay at Namiri surpassed our game viewing expectations. Within 5 minutes of arriving we saw a leopard lounging in a sausage tree and that luck continued - a lion kill right in front of the camp on the first night; wild dogs, cheetah, leopards and two caracal on day two and more...

We spent 3 nights and 4 days at the camp and were blown away by the animals, rooms, staff and service. This place is located in a secluded area of the Serengetti away from EVERYONE else. You won't see another group for hours while you are out. this is as wild as it gets. Also, the staff, Diana in particular...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
For 20 years, the grasslands of the Eastern Serengeti were closed to tourists to allow the cheetah population to replenish itself. Today, this is big-cat territory, where cheetah roam the area in pursuit of prey, and lion and leopard hunt undisturbed. In 2014, the region reopened with Asilia appointed as its custodian. Guests can enjoy this incredible corner of the Serengeti from the comfort of cool and elegant Namiri Plains. Expansive views, serious comfort, exceptional privacy and unrivalled sightings of apex predators in a region of the Serengeti come together to give you an exclusive and action-packed safari experience. ... more   less
