Internationally renowned for the greatest wildlife spectacle on the planet, The Serengeti National Park located in north west Tanzania is the ultimate ‘wildlife show’ on earth. Across the globe authors and filmmakers have come to document the Annual Migration of hundreds of thousands of animals, but there is still only one way to understand and experience the true magnificence of this natural phenomena and that is to be part of it. Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the ‘camp’ experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River which is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away, Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time.

we stayed for 3 nights in the camp. Our guide (Alex) was fantastic, not just in spotting animals, but also telling interesting stories, quizzing our kids, and making sure we get the right spots to take pictures. We saw the migration, and I loved how he balanced ensuring that we had a great view, with not disturbing the animals. The location of the camp is great, it took us an hour to the river to see the great migration, and lots of interesting terrain around. The view is quite beautiful with hippos, buffalo and elephants passing The butler (Jackson) was very friendly, at spend a lot of effort to ensure our kids where happy The menu is small (3 dishes to choose from, changing every night), however the food was high quality, an beautiful platted. The swimming pool is nice for the kids, and the staff is friendly The tents are large, with great showers and fully equipped, however as with all tents a bit noisy when it is windy. They provided hot water bottles for cold nights Overall great experience, would highly recommend

During a 10-day safari, we spent 4 days and nights at Migration Camp and loved every minute of the experience. It's first-class all the way--rooms, food, service, and guides. Said, the general manager, and Justin, the assistant general manager, make sure that every guest feels like royalty. We were fortunate to have Alex as our guide. With 20 years of experience, he is a walking encyclopedia of the Serengeti. The 2 full-day game drives we had with him were the best we have ever experienced during our multiple trips to Africa. Plus, he's an expert photographer, always advising us how to get the best photos. We were also fortunate to have Hemedi as our server for all of our meals. He is so warm and friendly. Justin told us that most guests choose to spend 2 nights at Migration Camp. I urge you to spend 4. The Serengeti is so big and there is so much to see. You can't do it in 2 days.

A wonderful tented resort where the staff were so helpful and food wonderful. It overlooks a hippo pool and buffalo are there too. The tents are large with balconies. At night we were accompanied by a guard to our room due to wild animals. Lots of rock hyraxes on the rocks too. At night we were give hot water bottles in the bed as it was chillier then

Best camp on our safari. It looks very impressive. You can tell the focus on details, too. The camp is located far off other camps next to a river. We had the last tent, which was just perfect. In front of us was a hippo-pool, to the left a herd of buffalos and to our right a family of baboons. If we had known upfront we would have cancelled our game drive that day as we we’re able to see everything from our balcony ;-)

Met at the airport by our guide Jackson who had already laid out refreshments for us to partake before travelling to our destination. Much to our surprise and enjoyment we were taken straight away on a game drive. Jackson was the most amazing guide. His knowledge of the animals and where to find them was incredible, to the extent we saw a leopard lazing in a tree on our first outing. When we arrived at the Serengeti Migration Camp we were met by the Manager Said, and transported into a beautiful world. The scenery was breathtaking and when we were shown to our luxurious tent, the view was so amazing it made my wife cry. We could see hippopotamus and giraffe and that evening the hippopotamus visited our tent as we laid listening to them munching away in complete safety. Security were present throughout the day to keep an eye on the animals and to escort you back to your tents every evening as the animals roam freely. There was never a time we felt threatened, it was all very exciting. One day we stepped outside to see two giraffe eating at the side of our tent, a picture in our minds we will always treasure. The food was delicious and every day a wonderful lunch was provided and Jackson found safe places for us to dine amongst the wildlife, I really enjoyed the safari beer which he made sure was available. One day we sat watching the zebra and wildebeest with a lion in the distance. Hassan, The Restaurant Manager, looked after us with humour and friendliness. Always attentive but not intrusive. He even began teaching my wife Swahili and they would converse every evening, often laughing as my wife tried to pronounce the words correctly. Dining was in a different area each evening and the views of the wilderness whilst we eat will never be forgotten. It was an extremely emotional experience to stay at this camp and it was very covid safe and aware. Said was friendly and always available to chat with and welcomed us back from every game drive making sure all our needs were met.

If you want to be right in the thick of things - this is it. Wonderful tented camp that doesn't get any closer to nature. Elephants walking in front of your deck in the morning, baboons playing on your deck, hippos wandering round middle of the night to eat, lions doing what lions do right under out deck. Can't get much closer to nature. Bring your ear plugs because the Serengeti is alive at night...lol. Wonderful setting, accommodations were great (albeit a bit dark), and once again the service and food were incredible. An absolutely FANTASTIC area to see it all in the wildlife arena. And a great way to end our 3 weeks in Kenya and Tanzania. hats off to the entire Elewana and Sky Safari crew. Miss you all. Love Anita, Paul, Mike, Bonnie, Deb ,Pat, Audrey and Judy. See you again soon. XO

This was our fourth Elewana property and the last safari stop. It was a great way to end our time on safari. First let me say that Elewana properties are all excellent and special with attention to detail, beautiful, comfortable accommodations, great food and consistently good guides. Our guide at migration camp was God Bless. By this time our party of four was pretty specific on what we wanted to see - and did he ever deliver! He put us right in the middle of a large wildebeest/zebra migration, found us all the big cats, and got us up close and personal to elephants. Meals were wonderful. Bush lunches were always delicious and varied, dinner was served in different places and was a four course feast - don’t miss the soups. On our last day we had a bush breakfast which was memorable. We were celebrating an 81st birthday and 51st anniversary and we had a special dinner including a very enthusiastic birthday sound in Swahili done by all the staff. It was delicious and fun. Our waiter Rasheed was ever present without being intrusive and took great care of us throughout our stay. Said the general manager was visible and helpful. One caveat, the tents are down on the river and everything else is at the top of the hill. It involves quite a bit of stairs but they are gradual and if you get short of breath or are mobility impaired you just need to plan for extra time to get up them. They did offer a golf cart if I found it too difficult, and there was always a lovely lady Raheena? Who appeared to accompany me whenever I was using the stairs. The tents were spacious and comfortable. The night sounds were fun to listen to. It was just a delightful experience. Thank you all for making it so special.

Amazing location. We drove up a bumpy dusty road but when I saw the wooden footbridge across the ravine into the camp, I knew this was a special place. The rooms were beautifully appointed with mahogany furniture and warms times. The service was first class reminiscent of any luxury hotel and the food was impeccable. The best thing was the wildlife. Twice our walk to dinner was interrupted by the animals - first time we had to go back to our room and wait out the hippos; the second time it was a leopard. It was truly amazing. I brought an emotional support stuffed animal (afraid of flying) and each night the staff put him in a different vingette during turndown service.
