There are no words about this camp, just outstanding From security guards, receptionist, restaurant staff to Manager all provide their best service located at the central side of Serengeti, When you stay at this camp you can see animals passing near your camp so its a real experience of staying at the middle of park Food is excellent, rooms are great Thanks to all staff at Mbuzi Mawe including Manager Mr. Mbisse
My friend Yanet Z. and I sent two nights here. Everything was SUPERB. The tents are gorgeous. The beds and bathroom are perfect. The restaurant and staff are truly amszing. The chef made special food items for me as we are vegetarians. Super sweet and accomodating. The staff takes you back and forth and they are truly very sweet people. I liked the energy of this place. The lions are watching over on the rocks. Over all it was an amazing experince to hear the animals at night. CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK.
Pretty good place to stay. Tents are good, but not luxurious. There are no doors to the tent bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As with most camps you'll need an escort at night to venture outside your tent. The baboons ar equity active and may try to come in the tends if the doors are unzipped.
We spent 3 wonderful nights at this camp and we were showered with kindness from the moment we arrived until we bid our final farewells. No request went unfulfilled. The food was excellent and the dining room service was very attentive. Our luxury tent was extremely clean and comfortable. A staff member escorts you to dinner and back to your tent afterwards to assure your safety. “Asante Sana” to Jonas, Haji, Elijah and Dismus for extraordinary service.
The staff made this luxury camp a wonderful experience. Eliota, Albert, Venus, and everyone else made us feel so welcomed and thrilled that our Safari company put us up at Mbuzi Mawe for two nights at the end of December 2021. We looked forward to Venus hosting us at every meal. The food was delicious every single night, especially the soups! On our last night, the camp hosted us for an elegant dinner in the bush which was a special experience. It was also fun seeing the baboons walking through the camp and up to their rock home above the camp at around 6pm every night. Thank you to everyone at this camp! My family and I had a great time and hope to return one day.
The is a great camp tucked away in hilly and rocky out cropping amid the hills and plains of the Serengeti. It sits at about 5000 feet above sea level which makes the temperature a bit cooler at night compared to other camps we had stayed in. Here the tents are outfitted with the modern conveniences of a hotel room, with plumbing and electricity. Although when we arrived, we were told the electricity would not be turned on until 6pm. They did turn it on for us earlier the next day when we returned from safari though which is another example of how accommodating the people here are. They do everything they can the make your stay as pleasant as possible. This is one the Serena properties so if you have stayed at others in the Serengeti, the menu at the restaurant is mostly the same, which is very good indeed. In fact, I want to say here, that the soups that are served are really quite good. As is all the food. The staff are excellent too. Upon arrival, we were asked to provide passports for registration. All fine. But the staff took it upon themselves to memorize our names so that each addressed us by our names throughout our stay, and we were a party of six. That is a nice and welcoming gesture. They also made a bush dinner for us and as one of us was having a birthday, they came and sang and danced by our table, the fire, and the moonlight. It does not get much more special than that. Even the Manager and Chef joined in. We all had a great time.…
We had an absolut perfect stay in the Camp. The Tents were very clean, comfortable and luxurious. We stayed for two nights, the food was awesome, the Waiters and the Manager absolutly nice and helpful. Nothing to complain. When we come back, we'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel is well situated and has all the amenities. The staff are all so friendly, helpfull and present. The lounge is roomy and the dining room spacious. The food was excellent and the service exceptional!
I stayed here for a night and it was booked through the travel agent. This is absolutely a gorgeous place to stay Staff: friendly and helpful. Room/tent: a lot space. Very clean. 24-hr electricity provided. Shower: great amenity along with super hot water Food: had dinner and breakfast there. Small selection but not too bad. The highlight was that a monkey intruded and stole some breakfast from the table
What a magical place, perfectly located! Thank you for a warm welcome and a desperately necessary massage after a long day in the car. Friendly staff, beautiful tend with a proper working shower, comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner - everything as it should be. Absolutely perfekt, very recommended!
