The Karibu Serengeti Sametu camp was the best camp Me and my family had stayed at! I would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Serengeti it is an amazing place! Anyone thinking of going here should definitely stay here!
We visited as a family during a Safari trip. We stayed for 2 nights, and we enjoyed it very much. The team is very hospitable and friendly. The place is designed beautifuly, and feels like a museum. It is very clean! We look forward to coming again :-)
Karibu camps & lodges- charming luxury properties located in the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Sametu Serengeti offers views of the vast plains of the park be it from the dining room or the luxurious tents you spend your nights in. A very eyepleasing camp with incredible food cooked by their chef (Premo), he took care that we were well served and happy with all the meals. Coming to the staff members- a team of enthusiastic people always smiling, welcoming and have lots of stories to share and entertained us during our stay. Jonus the camp manager just knows the right thing always and made sure we faced no trouble was. Our guides/ driver Fazal, Ndosi and David shared so many of their wildlife encounters and experiences of the wild, I was just amazed by what they had to share show us during our game drive, thanking them for showing me the Big 5. Our stay at Sametu Camp was the absolute highlight of the entire safari. We stayed here for 4 nights, the staff was very warm and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay at Sametu comfortable and memorable. The food here is undoubtedly the most delicious I've had in Serengeti. Special thanks to Bruno for all the quick assistance with a smiling face. The camp manager, Mr Jonas, kept us entertained by the fireplace with his stories on wild encounters. On the last night, we stayed awake the whole time by the bonfire, gazing at the Milkyway and photographing it. When you visit Serengeti, this is the place to be!
