This is a tented camp but with hot showers, flushing toilets, and very attentive workers! There are only 10 tents and I think there are probably 12 plus workers total! If it was dark, they walked you to or from your tent. In fact, they were just on stand by in the morning waiting for you to get up (no, not in front of your tent - that would be creepy!). Food was very good considering the conditions (not sure how the chef prepared all the food!), although sometimes they had an issue keeping it as hot as some of us like it. The food was very much "farm to table;" lots of healthy options.
I spent three nights and enjoyed the camp so much that I almost regretted leaving every day for game drives. Zebras and wildebeest streamed by in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon, and a marabou stork visited a couple of times. The food was consistently excellent, the bed wonderfully comfortable, and the staff attentive and friendly. I recommend Osero wholeheartedly.
Two great nights in a magic place in the heart of Serengeti with an incredible staff. Always looking after you for service and protection (we are in the middle of savannah among wild beast). A marvellous confort with tents looking like suites.
We stayed for two nights at this beautiful camp. We were warmly welcomed by the whole team with a welcome drink and refreshing towel, which you gladly accept after the dusty drives. The food is very good, the cook makes a great effort. The accommodation in the tents is the highlight. At night you can hear the hyenas and lions. We can highly recommend a stay at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp. A big thank you to the whole team!
We can highly recommend Oseron Tented Camp. Out stay was jut wonderful. When we arrived, we could not believe that we‘re going to sleep in such a nice place. All people were so friendly and supportive. When you had to get out of your tent in de dark, they were getting you with flashlights. During night you always felt save, even if you heard some animal sounds. The tent was even equipped with a bathroom (toilet, sink and even a hot shower when you asked for it). It was also very clean. The food was delicious! And the sunrises and sunsets are jut pure magic. Thank you ao much, asanthé sana 🤩
Staying at Osero is a definite must during your Serengeti travels. The staff takes time to ensure you are comfortable constantly and well taken care of. We received hibiscus juice and hot towels upon arrival. We were escorted at night to main dining tent by signaling with flashlights. The food was fresh and wonderful. Their dinner and lunch boxes were great each day. If you are familiar with glamming, this camp does it right. I will definitely recommend others to stay here for a tented camp experience in the middle of the Serengeti!
The people, the service, the accommodations, the food- all absolutely wonderful. Staying in the bush allowed a unique experience in the natural world. The sunrise/sun set to the sounds of safari life was like a dream!!! If you can- you should and Osero Serengeti Tented Camp is an absolute recommendation…. The food was SAFI SANA!!!
Very friendly staff. Concerned about helping you all the time. Tents have a good size but they are not as clean as one could ask for the price you are paying. WIFI connection is intermittent so it’s best to assume that you won’t get connection. Security is very poor during nights.
Absolutely unforgettable experience. In the heart of the breathtaking Serengeti, this place took me by complete surprise. I was expecting a medium quality camping experience but Osera achieved beyond my expectations. If anyone is familiar with glamping (posh camping), this is it except in the middle of the Serengeti. The tents have queen size beds and single beds (if required), a his and hers sink and fresh towels for the hot water shower also in your tent. The level of security is next level with an amazing level of respect for the animals. All signaling is done with a flashlight and walkie talkie, if required. As you dine in the impressive restaurant setting, one can hear the lions in the distance and Buffalo can be seen grazing. This is as real as it gets and is affordable, with quality and a level of service that is quite stand out. It is also worth mentioning that the level of English spoken by the staff here was a level above the other accommodations where we stayed. Cliche, I know but my only regret was not staying here for longer. Book Osera and you won’t be sorry.…
Three girl friends and I enjoyed such a beautiful night here. Our tent was very large with a sitting room and two twin beds with mosquito nets, private bathrooms and showers, and lights in the tent. There is Wi-Fi and a delicious buffet dinner with vegetarian options. The staff were incredibly welcoming with warm clothes and cherry juice as we arrived. We had a lovely sunset and sunrise walk and fire set up for us. They prepared hot water for our showers. The staff watched our for our safety being in a national park and escorted us everywhere after nightfall. We bought a few beers and enjoyed the night be the fire with our safari leader and the staff. There is plenty of wildlife right around the corner! Would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury tented experience in the national park.…
