We’ve been the only family in this marvellous luxury lodge with very helpful and caring personnel, a magical view over the valley with a gorgeous sunset and a morning animal spotting fun - elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hornbills - unforgettable!
Being one of the only two couples staying at the hotel it was like having our own private hotel! The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious, the room was lovely and the view was spectacular. Having returned from our safari for our second night we were welcomed by a pathway of petals leading to the bathroom where there was a bottle of white wine in an ice bucket with two glasses. This was such a lovely gesture and we enjoyed the wine, sat on the balcony watching the sun set. The location of the hotel is brilliant for getting to the wildebeest migration and I would most certainly go again.
The staff goes above and beyond. We had a birthday and they really put on a wonderful celebration. And they all llined up and waved goodbye on our last day. Good food, friendly staff. Best views and lodging ever!
Fantastic lodge with views over the plains that must rank as one of the best in the Serengeti! The staff are of a high quality, taking care of your every need and entertaining you with their singing and dancing in the evenings. The lodges are beautifully equipped and the luxury lodges in particular are spectacular. Beautifully fitted out and with views that photography simply can’t do justice to. The game drives were excellent with our guide very knowledgeable and the sightings of cheetah, lions, leopards and a serval to name a few, pretty impressive! Simply amazing!
This is a wonderful, eco friendly lodge nestled way out in the heart of the Serengeti. It's on a hillside with amazing views of the plains and the gathering wildebeests and a small herd of giraffe that visited every day. Godfrey, the manager, is welcoming and genuinely concerned about the well being of his guests. And Chef! This was without a doubt some of the best food we experienced in Africa. I truly believe Chef was brought in from a long history at 5 star restaurants. Whatever we ordered at dinner was excellent. Whatever he surprised us with at lunch was amazing and creatively tailored to our taste. We spent a restful and relaxing three days here and we will never forget it!
The lodge was wonderful. Godfrey, manager, was excellent and made sure everything was perfect. Nothing like taking a shower outside with nothing to see but the stillness of the Serengeti. What views!!!!!!!
Beautiful property with very good amenities which is eco friendly. The staff is extremely friendly and the manager really makes all the guests feel at home. We were very pleased from the time we entered the reception till the final goodbyes when all staff came out. Would recommend this place to all.
We stayed 3 nights, beginning of July, in this beautiful lodge overlooking the Plains with the wildebeest congregating below. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. There is so much wild life to see here.
i was at soroi with my wife and we cannot remove the serengeti views out of our heads - the food is stunning and the chef would surprise us with a new dish everyday - the road from the airport to the lodge is quite a distance , but once u get to this place its every second worth the drive. Writing too much of detail will take away the pleasure from this place, but one thing is for sure, it is out of the world-
I stayed for 2 nights just before Christmas and enjoy an unforgettable time. Our room had lovely views of the valley, with a bathtub facing the endless savannah. We had breakfast in the terrace and it was the best way to start our day. The restaurant serves delicious food with a great variety of dishes and we really enjoyed our dinners there. Thank you very much to Stuart and Sarah who made our experience unforgettable and to the rest of the highly professional and attentive team. From the maasai, to the room attendants and waiters, all of them were so kind and helpful. Definitely a preferred option for the Serengeti!
