Travellers' Choice
With seven private tents & one private tented family Villa, Asanja Africa Camp is very exclusive, providing exemplary service. Each luxury private tent represents a special Maasai Ceremony and has a story to tell. The tents are spacious and have a private verandah overlooking the scenic views of the Serengeti. All the tents have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Despite having the same design, each tent is distinct and unique. The tents are personalized and embellished in African style and culture. Asanja Africa Camp is located in South Central Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. The area is best known for its enormous herbivore migration, led by over a million zebra and wildebeest, a vast voracious lawnmower which in turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators.

Asanja was a absolute beauty. The staff were so caring and welcoming. The food was divine and the rooms were magnificent. The highlight of our trip was going on a game drive and seeing lions, leopards and cheatahs. I higjly reccomend Asanja it was wonderful experience.

What an amazing experience we have just had in this beautiful mobile camp where we spent three nights. In addition to having been the only two guests during our stay, the lodge was perfect and the very friendly staff took very good care of us. The camp is ideally located not far from the moru kopjes area. Our room was spotlessly clean with continuous hot water as well as power supply available H24. The food was plentiful and excellent and we particularly enjoyed sitting around the campire fire at sunset. Note that we continually felt safe in this lodge, thanks to all the health measures in place. The staff felt concerned by this situation, and were therefore attentive to respect the sanitary instructions: disinfectant available, systematic wearing of face masks in the presence of tourists (mask which nevertheless falls quickly if the tourist allows it) and temperature control on arrival. So we can only encourage people to choose Tanzania as their vacation destination and not wait for the virus to disappear. Tanzania desperately needs tourism to restart, and we would not hesitate for a second to return, even during this time of pandemic. We therefore thank the whole staff for their perfect organization of our stay and we look forward to come again as soon as possible. 😊

We travelled almost 6 hours to get to this camp and when there could barely get over the river due to the high water levels. We did but spent the next two days stuck in the bogs and unable to get back across he river. Fianlly after two nights we made it out but in the meantime the staff at this place made our stay so much more enjoyable by being so very attentive ( we were the only group of three that made it to this place..) but that aside they were very nice to us. SO the next day when we desperately were trying to get over the river to run into a pride of around 20 lions was such a bonus. Sincerely wish we had been here in nce weather because I know the lodge is very nice with good people too! Thanks for trying so hard to please us!

Asanja Moru was the perfect place to start our honeymoon. The staff were super attentive and the camp was gorgeous. What a place to fall asleep with the roars of the nearby lions. Thank you for such an incredible experience.
