My family and i we really enjoyed our stay at Acacia Migration Camp,Location is perfectly and easy to get to the river where the crossing point are , although we didn't see may wildebeest crossing as we were there middle of July but we like what we saw .. Tents are comfortable and the food and service was excellent staff were all friendly took a good care of us , We really would go back to this camp, if we would visit Tanzania and Serengeti again. asanti sana
My wife and i we have just returned from our 9 days safari in Tanzania organized by African DMC we had 2 nights stay at this Migration Camp and would highly recommend The Camp its nice , clean and near to the mara river where we just drove 20 minutes and we have seen the best wildebeest migration crossing for 20 minutes The food is nice Joseph made us add weight in just 2 nights , there's lots of variety so something for everyone. we highly recommend this Camp
Pros: Great location (in Feb . 2020) near Lake Ndutu. Really nice people - they went out of my way to help me find a lost item. The best tents I've ever seen - very much felt like a hotel room. Got T-Mobile service at the location! Cons: it's takes some getting used to being in a tented camp. For example, need to ask the staff for hot water - one suggestion: do not leave the walkie-talkie on overnight without charging it, or else it may be difficult to contact the hot water team for a morning shower.
This camp was deep in the bush. Lots of animals in surrounding area. The sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. We had some Cape buffalo wander In between our tents at night. There are camp guards who monitor activity at night to keep the guests safe. The food was excellent. Buffet style was perfect for our group and our preference. Many places we stayed had delicious food, but the portions were way too big for us and we felt bad not being able to finish everything. We really enjoyed getting to know the staff at this camp. They made us feel at home and we were sad to say goodbye.
Excellent camp, great service and food with internet in each room. At night, staff can escort you otherwise, you do not go out after dark as you are truly with the animals. they packed our lunches for the safaris and they were good as well.
