The good - the lodge. The grounds and rooms here are very nice and comfy. The staff was very warm and welcoming and will do everything they can to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable. I was here the night of my birthday and they even surprised me with a cake & a traditional game of eating the cake! The bad - the food. However the food here is not good at all. I did not enjoy any meals. I only ate because I had to. I stayed here for two night. They need a new chef. Also the kitchen does not give you a breakfast to go box if you want to get an early start for a game drive, which is important for safaris. They make you wait until 6am and you have to sit in the restaurant for breakfast. The lunch to go box was bad both days, but when you’re hungry you will eat.
Stayed here for two nights in a group and it was fantastic. The "tents" are great with an outdoor shower. I saw a Dik Dik while washing my hair! The food was excellent, the best food I have had on this trip. The staff were also great, won't forget these two nights in a while.
I was here two nights in January 2021, when I was on Safari in Serengeti National Park. It was a magical experience. The view, the lodge, the bath and shower, the staff, the food... Everything was there to make you feel pampered, welcome and comfortable. I recommend this hotel !! You won't regret it.
My brothers and I had a wonderful experience at Serengeti Safari Lodge. The 5 days we spent in this lodge were the best time of our recent vacation in Tanzania. The room was excellent and fitted with luxurious amenities. We normally relaxed by the poolside at the lodge house soaking in the sun with views overlooking the vast open grassland. Wild animals roam freely through the lodge and they organized for Masai morans to escort us back to our room. We loved all the attention, care great food by staff and would love to return soon for another vacation
I stayed in Serengeti safari lodge for one evening, it was magical. The lodge was gorgeous, with large windows and even a bathtub overlooking the open park. There is an outdoor verandah , very pleasant and peaceful. The lodge is in the middle of park, guests are not permitted to walk by themselves to their lodges in the evening because of chance of wild animals. I had a Masai warrior escort me to my lodge. One of the best, magical places I’ve been.! Thanks
