This is the perfect hotel for families or others wanting to rent an apartment for a brief period in Dar Es Salaam. Very spacious spotless rooms, all the necessary kitchen and bathroom equipment, extremely friendly staff. Breakfast, however could be updated. But all in all, I loved my stay there and would go back.

Avoid. No maintenance has been done in rooms. Towels are ragged and musty. Pillows need to be replaced. The shower is the smallest i have ever encountered. Furnishings are as they were 10 years ago. Covid protocols in terms of room hygiene are just not there. Breakfast is served on chipped crockery. Bathrooms smell damp and musty. The best was finding a mouse in the apartment today which maintenance manager wanted to kill in the room!!! I'm giving a two star rating as the housekeeping and front of house staff are great.

Fantastic place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Dar Es Salaam. Staff add to the comfort of the stay, always make you feel welcomed. Sometimes quietly, sometimes with a kind word. The small pool in the back of the restaurant lends the dining experience a serenity not found in many other places

A month of getting to know every nook and cranny of this hotel, staff very pleasant and willing to assist. The restaurant could do with a better menu. Rooms are a good size and don't leave you feeling cramped and everything worked.

I'm traveling around Tanzania and touching base at Sea Cliff Court hotel. Three different rooms. They are all good. Very quiet, clean, good duvet sheets, big towels, adequate wifi, good coffee, but breakfast is just OK. Desk service is excellent. Hotel security is very good with mirror checks of all cars undercarriage. Restaurant is expensive but several alternatives in walking distance. Lots of business people stay here.

I stayed at the Seacliff court and was allocated a room which had a bad mouldy smell and the entire room smelt damp, I asked to be moved on the 2nd night and was moved. The breakfast was underwhelming and the dining room had cockroaches which resulted in me not having breakfast for the rest of my stay

In fact I give it only 2 stars. This is my 2nd visit in 6 months and I only stay here because my employer makes my reservations. I will not stay here again. The staff is friendly and the rooms are large, but the service is poor - management is weak and staff are kind but I adequately trained. There are no vegetarian options on the menu except pizza, which when I tried to order it, they had none. Last visit I spoke with the head of the restaurant and head of the kitchen. The cook offered to make curried vegetables but it was vegetables in some sort of bottled sauce. There are no nearby restaurants. So this visit I brought my own food from home and smacked in my room for my meals. There is a small kitchenette in the rooms but they remove all the dishes, utensils, etc and the refrigerator does not chill anything. Every evening they spray lots of insecticide in the rooms so I still smell it when I walk into my room. Wi-Fi is available but insecure and very weak. The swimming pool is tiny, more of a splashing pool. I discussed each of these things with the manager last visit, but alas, nothing has changed. And when I asked to speak with a manager this morning at 7am, I was told there was no manager on the premise. Very nice staff but very poor experience. Next visit, I will stay elsewhere.
