Fantastic place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Dar Es Salaam. Staff add to the comfort of the stay, always make you feel welcomed. Sometimes quietly, sometimes with a kind word.

The small pool in the back of the restaurant lends the dining experience a serenity not found in many other places

A month of getting to know every nook and cranny of this hotel, staff very pleasant and willing to assist. The restaurant could do with a better menu. Rooms are a good size and don't leave you feeling cramped and everything worked.

This is the perfect hotel for families or others wanting to rent an apartment for a brief period in Dar Es Salaam. Very spacious spotless rooms, all the necessary kitchen and bathroom equipment, extremely friendly staff. Breakfast, however could be updated. But all in all, I loved my stay there and would go back.

Avoid. No maintenance has been done in rooms. Towels are ragged and musty. Pillows need to be replaced. The shower is the smallest i have ever encountered. Furnishings are as they were 10 years ago. Covid protocols in terms of room hygiene are just not there. Breakfast is served on chipped crockery. Bathrooms smell damp and musty. The best was finding a mouse in the apartment today which maintenance manager wanted to kill in the room!!!
I'm giving a two star rating as the housekeeping and front of house staff are great.

Having recently stayed here for business you will find it hard to fault. The food is fabulous, the roms are large with small kitchenettes so you can buy various food and beverage items and eat in without havin to go downstairs which after a day in traffic in dar is a welcome advantage that many hotels don't have. The hotel is ideally located near to numerous restaurants and a supermarket and if stuck in dar over a weekend being on the peninsula is beta than being in town.

Nice and big room but the carpet smells of unclean foots. Beautiful view from swimmingpool and from karambezi Café that serves good Fish and drinks. Is not a 5 star. Staff a little unfriendly in the hotel and without organisation in the restaurant. Breakfast not the best one but good. Coffee Espresso is not included..I don’t come back again.

On a business trip and stayed for 2 nights 3 daya.Excellent service from front reception , clean room with large bed . Good value for money. Breakfast with buffet cereals and juices and orderable main breakfast. Instead of Large mineral water in the room could do with two smaller bottles. Should have frequent AC taxis for travel to CBD and business meetings. The local office had over paid for one night and on check out i wss informed and money for one night refunded. Definetly recommend for business and family travel.

We stayed at the Sea Cliff Court as a temporary accommodation while we found a permanent apartment in Dar es Salaam. We originally wanted a one bedroom but of necessity (the one and two bedrooms were all booked) settled for an efficiency. This would have been fine for a week or even two, but we were not able to get into a permanent place for six weeks.

On such a long stay, here are several things to keep in mind: 1) The hotel has an odd policy of not giving you things like soap, shampoo, coffee, suger and water after you have been there for a couple of weeks - whether you are using those items or not! We insisted on water, but bought the other items (as the hotel policy presumes you will.) 2) Forget about using the kitchen in the efficiency units. They are totally inadequate for cooking on any meaningful scale. We made about three meals, and it was not worth the effort and disruption to the small unit. 3) Find places to eat out of the hotel. Although the hotel restaurant (operated by separate owners) has excellent service and very good food, the prices are a bit high and the menu, as good as it is, will get old quickly if every meal is taken there. 4) Even on short stays, know the taxi rates (from the hotel front desk staff or in the Dar information booklets) and insist on them. The drivers are making a living and will try to get as much from you as they can. Be strong! Having said that, the drivers that work the Sea Cliff Court hotel are all dependable and safe. If you ever have an issue with a driver, report it to the hotel staff. 5) The hotel will send your dirty clothes out for cleaning, but you will pay hotel rates. There is little other option if you are in an efficiency unit.

Housekeeping staff were excellent, dependable and friendly. Internet is not the best. It goes out regularly and is slow during peak hours (5 - 10 PM). I cannot complain about the price. For long term stays, the price is very modest for the quality of the property. Hotel front desk staff (including bell staff) are very helpful and friendly always. If you are fortunate enough to get a one or two bedroom unit, you will not be unhappy - they have a real kitchen, a clothes washer, a living room with sofa to watch TV from; they are truly apartments in every sense.

Stayed here for 5 days while visiting my family who are working in Dar. Hotel was clean modern, new and well equipped. Staff and management , were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good at the Calabash restaurant.

What I like at the hotel is that all the rooms have a small fully equipped kitchenette where you can cook for yourself if you do not feel like eating out. The hotel is also situated close by shopping centres and restaurants
