I travelled to La Sultana in early July and had THE MOST MAGICAL experience. My room was absolutely amazing, the service impeccable, and the spa treatments make me wish I already had my flight booked to go back. If staying at La Sultana, I would encourage you to try to upgrade to a junior or full suite as the intricacy of the design and decor are just that exquisite. In fact, the entire hotel felt like a museum. The artwork is simply beautiful, and I appreciated that it was so diverse. I checked in on the rooftop which was so awesome. It was a hot day, but the misters were going, the music soothing and completely surrounded by carefully selected furniture and greenery. The highlight of my ENTIRE experience though was the Royal Hammam and Four Handed massage and spa treatments. I am convinced that I had a rebirth during my Royal Hammam experience. Aziza was so nurturing and scrubbed, masked, polished my body from head to toe. I emerged feeling like an entirely new person! Please do yourself a favor and book one when you go. I could go on but the last thing I would note is that, if you don't get everything that you want from the Souks, there are a few vendors that are nearby so you can get your last minute souvenirs before leaving.…
Excellent service from all the staff, our room was really amazing, staying at the Medina was an extraordinary experience. We had an unimaginable late dinner at the rooftop restaurant, with the moon light, It was excellent, we really love the experience... waiting to be back again.
The service is impeccable, the set is splendid and authentic. You can't dream of a better holiday to savour Morocco. I highly recommend staying there, even with families. The location is fairly central, but not the best, though taxis are everywhere but only take the ones from the hotel.
Our room was amazing, breakfast and dinner was excellent, and we especially liked your lute player at dinner................. Excellent location and antique furniture in addition to fine artwork throughout the whole hotel
I have nothing but amazing things to say about La Sultana. Our room was jaw dropping, the food was epic and above all the staff was wonderful. I’ve never staid at place where I felt so welcomed and safe. I can’t wait for go back!
Stunning hotel, amazing rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would love to return to this hotel. The rooftop area is wonderful as well as the restaurant downstairs by the main pool.
Ultimate comfort and luxury in this gem of a hotel/Ryad. Small enough to receive truly personalised service from an engaged and happy staff but large enough to benefit from all amenities you would expect. A particular note relating to the food - it is truly exceptional. Simple, delicious, varied, we were not expecting this standard of cooking. Finally, the staff (many of whom have been at the hotel for over a decade) are uniformly engaged, professional, attentive and warm. We loved our stay and in particular the fact that you receive premium service in a beautiful environment without the standardised approach of the large ultra luxury chains. So in summary, a gem and well worth the visit.
Excellent decoration, Excellent and warm staff. Special thanks to Anas who made our stay outstanding! Beautifully appointed suites. Excellent food and service in both restaurants, with live music. Very well located. All the staff was really amazing. Be sure don’t to miss the spa.
This stunning, luxury Riad was located close to the Medina. The Riad is magical and pristine. The fine details are everywhere. Take your breath away beautiful. I found the entire staff to be warm, friendly and extremely professional and attentive. Our room on the first floor was spacious and well decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom area was large and the robe was wonderful. Water and a lot of delicious cookies and fruit were complementary in the room. I was taken aback that they charge a nominal fee for coffee capsules in the room, however, I am guessing they take it off the bill if one complains. I was also surprised that breakfast was not included as every other luxury place that we stayed in during our 14 day trip had breakfast included. It was also very expensive for breakfast. I realized after that they did advertise that breakfast was not included, however, I am mentioning it so that other travelers take this into consideration. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, but so breakfast at every Riad we stayed at in Morocco. We ate dinner one night at the Riad. It was delicious, but also extremely expensive-like NYC fine dining restaurant expensive. The pool was gorgeous and located in the center of the Riad. It was not small, but not huge either. Unfortunately, there were not a sufficient amount of lounge chairs and loung seating by the pool. That being said, we enjoyed the pool each day and again, the helpful staff made things perfect. We really enjoyed the hamam and the massage at the Riad. Both were teriffic! The staff at the spa are also great.…
My fiancé and I were in marrakech for just over a week. We did camel riding, quad biking, went to Azar restaurant, went to the mountains etc. but this experience topped the lot. We only visited the restaurant (not the hotel itself) and it was hands down the best restaurant my partner and I have ever been to. I booked a private dinner on the rooftop as I wanted to surprise my then girlfriend with a proposal so I emailed the restaurant and they were super helpful. I was liaising with a fabulous man named Anas the whole time and he was so patient and kind. I was even fortunate enough to meet him at the end of the day. He booked a private area for me on the day and even allowed the external photographer to come and visit beforehand so she would know where she can hide to take pictures for the big moment. The food was frighteningly good yet somehow the service was even better. Hamza served us all night and was just so professional and welcoming. Both him and Anas, I can sing their praises enough. Together they made the night the best night of mine and most importantly my fiancés life. Don’t get me wrong it was expensive but it was genuine worth every penny.…
