We are very happy to have stayed at Riad Chamali, the staff was amazing, they helped us with anything we needed (like getting around, places to eat and even helped us get our train tickets, thank you!). The location is very good, close to Place des Ferblantiers, where you can find many places to eat, the Bahia Palace and like 10 min walk from the main square. The Riad is very nicely decorated as a traditional Moroccan house and very clean. The pool was a great option to freshen up if you visit in the summer. Highly recommend it.

You absolutely must stay at Riad Chamali! It is an oasis in the centre of town. Abundant with flowers, fruit trees and gorgeous open spaces, it really is a piece of paradise in the heart of the medina. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect stay.

Despite arriving quite late in the evening, we were greeted with traditional Moroccan tea, treats and warm welcomes from the staff. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and we came away feeling very rested.

From start to end, the staff (particularly Hamza and Ashraf) took wonderful care of us and gave us absolutely everything we needed - including a delicious fresh mojito on the roof terrace after a tiring day walking around in the heat! We loved the location, which is in the quieter Jewish quarters and only 15 minutes walk away from the main square and souks. We couldn't believe the quality of the rooms, public spaces, service and breakfast at such a reasonable price. We can't wait to come and stay again, thank you so much Riad Chamali!

It was my 5th stay at Riad Chamali and it always feels like coming home. Always warm welcome from everyone.
The place is beautiful, wonderful rooms with big and comfortable beds. Delicious local cousin and moroccan mint tea.
Riad is situatie in the quiet street and it’s a short walk distance from the taxi to the location.

Mouta and all the wonderful staff members thank you form making my stay always memorable.

Noisy due to the birds both at night and morning. The shower did not work properly (cold water only at our arrival, it was fixed after). The towels smelled like smoke, weird, but they were changed quickly.
Breakfast not very good, quite limited.
We asked for a cab which never arrived and the place is not easy to find you have to go through small streets to find it and there are usually kids asking for money to guide you.

Dear host. Thank you for having choosed our Riad for your stay in Marrakech and for having taken the time to post a comment after you get back home. We regret that our place and our services didn't meet your requirements. To be honest, it is very difficult to really appreciate the extent of all what we can provide within a short stay of one night only. The birds, the small streets and the kids are a charming part of Marrakech. We hope to have the opportunity to see you again for a longer journey and make you change mind about us. Thank you. With best & kind regards.

Riad Chamali was a wonderful place for my daughters and I to celebrate Christmas and explore the city from. We had two separate rooms and there was plenty of space for us. The staff are so welcoming. They arranged a special Christmas Eve dinner for us and the meal was excellent. The Riad is clean and well run with a lovely feel and they are happy to arrange excursions for you. We had a guide for our first day show us the city and a guide take us to the Ourika Valley for a great hike.
The location is on the edge of the Medina and it's a relatively easy walk to the central square and souks. We felt very comfortable here and would gladly return.

This is a very pretty Riad and location not far from the airport and walking distance to central (Medina) zone (15mins) of Marrakech and Bahia palace; 20-30mins walk to the hustle and bustle of the old Medina and big souks.

Service here was a bit hit and miss though. We stayed on 2 separate occasions in a week as a 'base' between the Atlas mountains and Marrakech. First check-in we received a warm welcome and drink. 2nd time, the management was away and the attendant staff were very slow and inefficient.

Breakfast is disappointingly basic; have to pay extra for eggs. Even had to pay extra for bottled water for each room! Buy large bottles of refrigerated water from the local small shops if weather is warm/hot!

Also, I'd advise booking the Riad's own airport transfer on arrival from the airport to this Riad (15euro), but just use local taxis once in Marrakesh to travel or head back to the airport as its much cheaper.

Get local Dhiram currency (bit at the airport) but then the rest for spending with get better exchange rates in Marrakesh itself, or you can withdraw cash from many bank machines in the Medina area.
Only the top more expensive restaurants/bars will take credit card. All local shops, souks, local eateries, and taxis are cash only!

DO plan a stay in the Atlas mountains even not far from Marrakech; they are stunning if you you like some remoteness and tranquility.

We have traveled quite a bit and stayed at AirBNBs all over the world and this was by far the BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed at.

Our wonderful experience started as soon as we walked in the Riad Chamali and met the amazing manager Moutaa. Moutaa was so helpful and helped us coordinate all our activities during our stay. Additionally, Moutaa assigned Sharif to assist us and Sharif was always there to help us with learning where to go in Marrakesh.

Moutaa and Sharif always went above and beyond what we would expect and were even available via phone when we were shopping so they could give us guidance on how much to pay.

If you’ve never been to Marrakesh and you want someone to treat you like family and look out for you this is definitely the Riad to stay at. One final thing, we also ate dinner and breakfast at the Riad and the food and service was always phenomenal.

If there was an option, we would give this Riad Chamali ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ stars … no doubt ❣️

My wife and I targeted a relaxing and comfortable accommodation located close to a lot of things we wanted to see, and we couldn't imagine a better place for the money than Riad Chamali!
From well before arrival with the convenient and courteous transport service from the airport, to the check in process with our new friend Yacin, through our stay - Riad Chamali exceeded our expectations and made our already interesting and exciting time in Marrakech that much more wonderful. Breakfast was simple, yet delicious, and we had the best couscous of our lives one evening in the riad.
Rooms were neatly decorated, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. And as mentioned - service by the entire staff was terrific. It felt like we were guests of relatives in a small palace.
I would highly recommend Riad Chamali to anyone looking for an outstanding deal close to the heart of Marrakesh - you won't be disappointed!

We had the most amazing stay at Riad Chamali. Very last minute I needed to find a Riad to accommodate 22 guests for one night and to run a half-day meeting and provide lunch and dinner. David and Moutaa at Riad Chamali pulled out all the stops and our stay ran seamlessly. The Riad itself was a mix of old and contemporary, the food was traditional and so delicious and the rooms just perfect for our group. We all felt like we were staying in someone's home. The team at Riad Chamali couldn't do enough for us, from organising taxis to printing documents. This Riad offers 5-star service and is the perfect hidden gem in Marrakech if you are looking for a truly Morrocan experience. I can't wait to go back.
