I always base reviews on cost versus quality, and it was a pretty well matched. We were there as Morocco closed to Brits, which meant we had a bit of a strange time as the hotel got quieter and quieter. Comments are - lots of space in the grounds, and high quality furnishings. - food became repetitive but at the same time that is partly due to the amount of choice -Italian restaurant was average but Morrocan was great - cocktails were hit and miss depending on who made them. The women seemed much more skilled than the men - staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and it is a great place for women to feel safe -The grounds were well suited to pushchairs and wheelchairs, and it was very mobility friendly. - The entertainment staff in the first week were a bit overpowering, asking literally every 5 minutes if we were ok, but relaxed as time went on (I do wonder if there had been a bad review or something) - Rooms were spacious and had a walk in shower (again great for mobility issues) -pool could be a bit cold, but the heated indoor one made that less of an issue - the outdoor entertainment in week 1 was passable, the indoor entertainment in week 2 was fantastic. I wonder if we fell foul of mid season switches. - facilities for kids we ok, the kids club isn’t going to set the world alight, and the park is small but the pool is huge and there is a baby and toddler pool Overall I’d definitely go again…
Just come back from 10 nights at Riu Tikida Palmeraie in Marrakech, with my parents and we absolutely loved it!. We were given a wheelchair throughout our stay as my parents are not very mobile, and that really helped. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we want to keep coming back in future. The hotel and grounds are beautifully kept, so credit to the landscaping team!.. can't wait to come back again..😁😎
Just returned from a family holiday at the Rui Tikida Palmeraie, with ages ranging from 12 to 84. I don’t know where to start about this wonderful place. The hotel and rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. The food is really good with plenty of choices for all tastes. The Italian restaurant was closed during our stay but we ate in the Moroccan which was good but I preferred the main restaurant as there was so much choice there. All the staff, including the maids, the bar staff, the waiting staff, reception and the animation team were exceptional but a special shout out to Oumaima in the animation team who was so helpful and friendly
6th visit here and got a pool facing room on the first floor. hotel seemed busy around the pool area and the pool guys always on hand. drinks sometimes seemed a little low on the alcohol content but have had worse and the red wine and beer was good. the food we found to be the best out of all our visits to this hotel with a nice variety at lunch and dinner, didn't bother with breakfast so couldn't comment on that. we found more Moroccan food on the buffet and plenty of vegetarian dishes tochoose from. hotel staff excellent, weather excellent. enjoyed the break and will again be visiting here
Super friendly staff, amazing room / suite. Good buffet food, huge pool and good gym facilities. Must do trips - hot air balloon (Sunrise), Spa day at Marajah (hotel in house massage was not good, I may have just been unlucky with the member of staff allocated to me was on her phone during massage and phone kept vibrating on the massage table! Although others had a good experience with different staff. No issues to report regarding the hotel and hotel staff, all very good.
