We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is situated in the Gueliz part of Marrakech close to many local attractions including Jardin Majorelle & The Medina. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, many of which don't look much from outside but are lovely when you go in. A very nice welcome upon arrival & hospitality is top notch. The breakfast is the best breakfast I have ever had! V impressive if you are a continental breakfast lover like me. This area becomes a sophisticated bar in the evening with live music. Perfect for a romantic setting. There is a pool on the ground floor serving food & drinks all day. The pool was like a warm bath due to how hot it is in Marrakech in July but if you have a dip in and out , the breeze will cool you along with a nice mojito ! The room was spacious and very clean. We had complimentary water & treats upon arrival & water throughout our stay. The bed is massive & the most comfortable thing I ever slept in. It was heaven! A nice balcony too for catching a few late sun rays. Our fave place was the rooftop bar, Panaramic views , great music & lovely staff. We got to know a few such as Khalid, Abdul & Mad. Everyone we met in Morocco were so nice & we really enjoyed our time here. Nice bar snacks & drinks by day & in the evening a really good DJ. It gets very lively. Try the sangria, it's delicious and great value for money, the glass is absolutely huge !! Would visit again in a heartbeat.…
Stayed for two nights whilst in Marrakech on business. The hotel is in the centre of the new city located near to a number of good restaurants and a short taxi ride to the train station or old town. I arrived early and left my bags with reception, who delivered it up to the room whilst I was out having lunch and they were getting the room ready, which was appreciated. The room was a reasonable size and decorated to a high standard; comfortable bed, good large shower; air-con and WIFI both worked well. My room had a pleasant balcony that overlooked the road and sports-field behind. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. The hotel has, I am told, a very good fish restaurant on the ground floor however I didn’t get a chance to try it, or the pool out this time. I did try out the rooftop terrace / bar, which was very nice, excellent freshly fried potato crisps, and fast service. A good boutique hotel in the center of the new town…
This is a luxurious, relaxing, quiet & peaceful hotel which offers an oasis from bustling Marrakech. Checkin was swift and professional and we were delighted to be offered a cool & refreshing complimentary water melon juice while we briefly waited for our room card. Our luggage was delivered to our room which was huge, spotlessly clean, cool from very efficient AC & very elegantly decorated. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable with beautiful bedding. The room offered complimentary bottled water, Fruit, pastries & biscuits and we were provided with slippers, hair dryer, comfortable seating area, ample storage, free safe and TV. The balcony was spacious with comfy seating and a beautiful outlook over the courtyard pool. The bathroom was stunningly tiled and offered ample toiletries and soft, fluffy towels which were replaced daily. The room was cleaned daily and fresh bottled water provided which was very welcome in the 40+ degree heat. The dining room is fabulous with gorgeous decor & furnishings and breakfast was very generous with plenty of variety including fresh juices, cereals, fresh & dried fruits, salad, jams, breads, eggs cooked to order, sausages, cold meats, vegetable fritters, fried potatoes, cheeses, pastries & a selection of Moroccan crepes. Dinner & lunch a la crate menus were excellent offering mostly seafood. There was enjoyable live music in the restaurant in the evenings and it has a very chilled out atmosphere. The courtyard lounge & pool are accessible via the restaurant where you can find comfortable sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower. The pool is a decent size, no deeper than 6’ at the deepend but with gradual steps down, there is also a small children’s pool. The roof top Sky Lounge is spacious with comfortable seating surrounding a well stocked bar offering large areas of shade as well as sun trap spots with great views across Marrakech. The pool is relatively small and no deeper than waist high at any point so perfect for a cooling dip in the heat but not suited to swimming. The drinks menu is varied and reasonably priced and we were offered delicious olives and freshly fried potato crisps. The food menu includes salads, pasta, burgers and pizza and anything we tried we liked. The staff are excellent at 2Ciels and make a huge effort to ensure you enjoy your stay. While they are all extremely professional, friendly, helpful and eager to please there is a laid back atmosphere and occasionally service might not be immediate but this didn’t bother us at all as the overall experience is so relaxing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel & we’d love to return.…
- This is a lovely, modern hotel with all of the amenities you need for a stay in Marrakech. The area seems nice and there are taxis outside to take you to the Médina for 50MAD. Staff are very friendly and helpful. - Rooms are spacious, spotless and the air con is a God send. - Lots of choice at buffet breakfast to cater for all tastes. Nice restaurants and cafe’s in walking distance. The staff knock on your door with bottles of water each evening. - The ground floor pool is quiet and in the shade in the afternoon which was lovely. The roof top pool has more of a pool party vibe. Views are stunning but the clientele put us off a bit. Smoking cigars in the pool, quite loud and very posey.
We visited this beautiful hotel in July of this year and it was amazing. The service of the staff and location was magnificent. Superb service in the skylounge Lola from No3man. Amazing service and good care. Thank you for everything!!
A short family trip for a few days. Amazing friendly staff and a very clean hotel. The spa was amazing. It is very close to all the right locations of the main places to visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to you all. It's a 5 star for me
Am lovely hotel, good service. And a brilliant restaurant. (Try the fish) Very good rooftop bar, the staff make it even better. Lovely to have a drink and watch the sunset. Even has live music some nights. Thank you for the top service Mohamed the bartender and Madiha for the top service. Look forward to coming back.
The 2ciels is a beautiful, lush, comfortable hotel in the new town (a 7 minute drive from the old town). It is perfect if you want to be a little bit outside the bustling, busy city centre. We spent 3 nights here and it was very relaxing. A beautiful sunset can be seen from the rooftop pool, where drinks and food may also be purchased. Breakfast each morning was fabulous - with a large selection of options available. The room was spacious, clean, and has a lovely balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
This hotel was just perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was our first time in Marrakesh and we will definitely go back and we will definitely stay in this hotel again.
There are so many hotels to choose from in Marrakech, I am very happy to choose 2Ciels. Highly recommended if you are looking for a contemporary hotel. Pros: 1. Staff: Reception staff were so welcoming. 5 stars! Rooftop bar, breakfast restaurant and house keeping staff were also very friendly and nice. 2. Room: Very clean and modern decor. Loved relaxing at balcony. Great AC. 3. Hotel: Unlike huge resort hotel, hotel itself is perfect size. Contemporary with modern elegance. Well done! 4. Rooftop bar/pool: Perfect spot to chill after sightseeing in the hot weather. Nice music. Pool is not designed for swimming. It's small and shallow. 5. Neighborhood: I knew it was not in Medina but didn't know what kind of neighborhood when I booed. It is in a nice quiet area with some great restaurants nearby. 6. Breakfast: Very good buffet and service. Everything was so delicious. Cook to order egg, of course. Cons: None After traveling a week all over Morocco mostly stayed at Moroccan style hotels, it was a very nice hotel to relax with all the amenities and facilities you expect.…
