If you wait for the right moment you always get a great deal and pay much less, than you ought to pay for such a classy hotel. Very nice suites, very nice breakfast, great location in the middle of zona 10 - I simply love this hotel
Very good hotel would definitely stay here again. The food and restaurant was very good. And the staff accommodated me even though I was at the cut off, they still brought my dinner to my room. Muy buen
My normal go-to hotel in capital has closed, so we just picked Casa Veranda because of location and online pictures. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! I HIGHLY recommed this hotel for a short or extended stay. So close to upscale dining AND take-out. Impeccable suites, with comfort and spaciousness. Great value, competent staff! Easy to find and secure underground parking. They do have shuttle for airport, better to stay before an early morning flight or early appointment in the city.
i stayed on Jan 2nd. With my family, there was no hot water so i canceled and went to the Radisson hotel. Until today June 2nd almost half year i have not yet received the credit of the nights i did not used. I keep calling/emailing and they seem to not care. Worst service, i also emailed the Gm and until today i never heard back. I will not recommend to anyone specially if the hotel has to give you a credit. Very bad way to do business ...
I was amazed at the size and comfort of the rooms. I stayed in two different rooms (two different reservations) and they were both excellent. The kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom were amazing! The price was good. Although the breakfast is a buffet and has a huge variety of pastries, breads, and hot dishes, people with dietary restrictions will find that there are few options. However, there are always fruits, juices, jam, fried platanos, and beans that can be enjoyed by people with different dietary restrictions (vegan, celiac, lactose intolerant, kosher, halal etc.). The personnel is very polite. There are several restaurants, mall, and bookstores nearby. It is about 7 min. from the airport. I would certainly stay in this hotel if I visit Ciudad de Guatemala again.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff, specially Shearley and the front desk staff who made our stay really comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms that are like home away from home. Restaurant has great selection of traditional and gourmets meals. Overall super clean and excellent service.
I really love to come here! The service is number one, the food just perfect and the atmosphere is Supreme! Even I love the rooms. All of them are suites and is like a luxury home. Doesn't have pool but it very nice with kids or just with a couple.
I came with my Inlaws to Guatemala for a medical visit and stayed at Hotel Casa Veranda. The hotel is neat and the rooms are nice. Breakfast is included. Beds are comfy and AC works like a charm. 2 thumbs up for this hotel. The only thing I do not like are the elevators. They are to small and are not wheelchair friendly. For the rest all is fine.
This is close to airport . The beds were very comfortable and hot showers every morning are a must for me. Our view of the city and mountains was beautiful . While close enough to airport to seee planes taking off the noise level with windows shut is very quiet . The staff were excellent . Ever morning for breakfast my coffee was filled when even half empty . They even provided coffee to go when we had to head out early . The front desk staff were helpful as well. Heidy and maritza were staff that took care of our group daily . Maritza always remembered our drink orders in evening . The hotel is near many restaurants in walking distance as well. The rooms have microwave and fridge to use if you wish .
I stayed in this hotel for two weeks with a large group. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the breakfast, which features a different Latin American country's food each day. Room was extremely spacious, with separate kitchenette and living space from the bedroom, and was comfortable. Beds were on the firm side. I put the desk to good use, as I worked remotely on their high speed internet. They power was out in the area for most of a day, but the hotel's generator was quickly fired up. Hotel also offers a hotel shuttle which was quick and convenient. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel on my next trip!
