Good enough for one night stay, not as good as the picture. Get a room on ground level by the corner next to the wall. A tad deferred maintenance. But then, it is not too expensive either from western point of view ($80 a night tax included). Feels safe because it is gated. Front office accomodated my request to stay later, although not super friendly either.
Unfortunately, this hotel seems to have fallen on hard times because what you see in the pictures is not matching the reality of the rooms at least anymore. I was looking forward to checking out this hotel and spending the night but after checking in and seeing the room I decided to go back to the hotel I had been previously staying at (InterContinental) as I just didn't like what I saw. I had a room that was the middle category--room 17 to be exact--and the room walls which are painted white were covered in black scuff marks all over the place--probably from previous guests' suitcases or something. But it looked really bad. (Not sure why the hotel management doesn't re-paint the interior of the rooms.) The hotel shows L'Occitane amenities in the bathrooms but--they're long gone. Replaced with some random, cheap brand that didn't smell good. The view from the windows was of an exterior wall, the air conditioning didn't work very well, and there was a space under the exterior door from the room that could easily allow bugs to enter the room. The hotel staff seemed generally friendly and I will say that the common areas are indeed quite attractive. The location is good as well. But other than that I would highly recommend that unless or until this hotel does some much-needed maintenance that you save your time and try a different hotel. There's plenty in the area to choose from that do not cost much more.…
The hotel is conveniently located in Zona 10 and also close to shopping. Bed was very comfortable and amenities were quality. Jorge was very accommodating, he went the extra mile. The whole staff was very helpful.
I have stayed several times in Zone 10 in Guatemala City at some of the better-known named hotels. The Inmaculada beat them out easily. The hotel is in a quieter area of Zone 10, still very safe, and about a 5minute walk to the popular Oakland Mall. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was large and comfortable. There was a small issue with hot water which is not unusual in Guatemala. The breakfast, which came with my room, was excellent. There were many choices and it was cooked to order. I will definitely stay here again.
We used this hotel as a last night before flying back home to US. It was a great hotel located close the airport. The concierge was very helpful in helping us schedule our covid test along with airport transfers. The rooftop restaurant was great and had excellent food options. Would stay here again.
Was just at La Immaculada last week (Jan 2020). It's small, intimate and very elegant. A real boutique hotel, with warm wood decor and lots of plants. Rooms are spacious and modern. Beds are large and OH SO VERY COMFORTABLE!! (So important, especially on a business trip to get a good night's rest). Baths are modern and chic. And you hear abstolutely NO outside traffic noise! It's a very quiet neighborhood, with Embassies nearby. Front desk staff is very kind, polite and helpful. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food or service. I enjoy exploring the neighborhoods around my hotel but there really isn't anything to see around the hotel. Just a small little park (more of a large sitting area) just outside the hotel. The neighborhood is clean and safe (which is important), but no parks, plazas, churches or anything cultural. There are several really nice restaurants and eateries, and even a really elegant and comfortable bar (but nicer than just a bar) that are within a couple of blocks away. We looked forward to our dinners at the nearby restaurants. Only 'heads-up' I would share is that in the morning they provide you with a complementary coffee. My colleague wanted a coke instead - and they charged her $4 for a small bottle of coke!! So if you enjoy a carbonated soda in the morning, bring your own! Also, on my last day I wanted to visit the Cathedral and plaza. The hotel said they could arrange for a ride - for 300 Quetzals (at $1US : 7.6 Qs, or about $43.00 US). An Uber cost me 31 Qs (or $4.50) and got to the hotel in about 1 minutes. Catching an Uber back was just as easy and it picked me up right in front of the Cathedral. So, bottom line, this will be my hotel for Guatemala City evey time I go back (as well as for the organization for which I work). It's small, clean, warm, comfortable, quiet, elegant, friendly, with great restaurants nearby. My ideal hotel would be all this but near the cultural district (so I could get out and go explore), but everyone told me that it's not safe to go out in the evening around the cultural district. So a hotel there wouldn't do me any good since the evenings are the only time I have to get out and explore). Totally wonderful, delightful and relaxing stay!!…
This place is clean and modern and filled with plants. My room was spacious with beautiful hard floors and a simple marble bathroom. Shower had great water pressure—and I say this is a New Yorker! Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The service at breakfast was a bit uneven (it would help to have a written menu with all the offerings); some days there were juice and plantains on offer, others not. Some days I was charged for a second hot beverage, others not. The highlight is the excellent house masseuse Astrid who provides one of the most attentive sports/stretch/deep tissue massages I have ever had (including Europe, Asia, USA, S America). I loved it so much I did it two days in a row. There is also a nice little sunny rooftop garden where I did yoga, though I found it on my own. This place is a bargain. …
Stayed here for a few days and overall a nice boutique hotel with friendly staff. It doesn't have a pool or a gym and no elevators either and it does take a long time for hot water to get to the faucets but for a short term stay it offers a relaxing atmosphere and a good location
I am in Guatemala City multiple times per year and stumbled upon this hotel when my Marriott/Westin were booked full. This is a hotel that is now in my rotation! Great location and well appointed rooms. Great value and beautiful roof tom conference room and deck. Also recommend the free breakfast and made-to-order Guatemalan coffee!
We spent a week at the hotel and wholeheartedly recommend it; it’s perfectly located in the heart of the city and offers all the amenities for a great stay. Staff is very attentive and helpful and breakfast was delicious (already miss the morning coffee!). We will definitely return.
