My single-bed room was just a plain one with really nothing much in it except for a bed but it was a nice-sized bed, and yes also nice was the "sizeable bathroom" which was not ensuite but pretty much right outside my room (with also some more bathrooms but smaller than that one). And yes, my many thanks are to Tony & the owner gentleman for their friendliness & helpfulness. And actually also "quite nice" about this place is its location at just about a 10-minute walk to the city's "premium area" of Plaza Mayor de la Constitucion (to the right after coming out for a short walk of a block & a half followed by a left turn for just another 5 minutes or so straight to the Plaza's southeast corner) where yes apart from the "great space" to enjoy with many pigeons all over (and also with a fountain & a big national flag in the middle) are also the city's "main cathedral" Catedral Metropolitana on the Plaza's east side (with a big colorful dome above and really a "quite splendid" interior with plenty of great paintings & super-sized medals) and the long heritage-styled building of Palacio Nacional on the Plaza's north side (with a "fairly impressive" interior to see on like an hourly tour). And also, just along the way while heading to that area are: National History Museum which is actually located just "pretty much diagonal" from this place (although one I skipped for the admission of about 50 quetzales or 7 US$), the small but "attractive-looking" church for Santa Rosa of Lima on a street corner (with her "great portrait" inside), and Mercado Central at like right before Catedral Metropolitana (quite a great "indoor market" for all kinds of Guatemala souvenirs & also for delicious "local meals"). Also, if you're into shopping or just browsing stores, there's 6 Avenida which is a "pedestrian street" lined with those including a multi-level mall (at just 4 blocks away from this place, with a right turn after coming out followed by a left turn at the corner).
