Rooms are very comfortable, more like a condo than a hotel room. Food and staff are wonderful. Grounds are beautifully landscaped. They provided 5 gal bottle of purified water and they are very environmentally conscious; everyone receives a re-usable bottle instead of plastic bottles.

This resort exceeded our expectations from the start. Our one bedroom suite matched the photos and provided comfortable furniture and room to hang out. We chose the lagoon side and were surprised at the beauty of the view from the balcony and the relative privacy....More

We haven’t had this problem before, they’ve been very responsive. If you want to use companies outside BOC try DTOURZ for the blue hole/Xunantunich. They were awesome and going direct is usually much cheaper.

Hi- I was just there from Feb 9-16 and the water was murky and sandy. There was a lot of seaweed on the shore, but everyday we saw multiple maintenance guys raking it up. We did not swim in the ocean at all, but it was still great to look at. There is a great pool with a swim up bar. A few people tried to snorkel from the resort but couldn’t see anything. We heard multiple stories about the water condition from other guests and locals. One said it was due to all the rain they had in January, someone else said it was always that way. It didn’t ruin or impact our trip at all. If you can take the Ranguana cruise and there is some decent snorkeling and beautiful Caribbean blue water there. Have fun!
The whole peninsula has sea grass along the shore. I observed people snorkeling but it is sandy bottom with patches of sea grass. Best is to go out to reef on a tour to snorkel/dive. Suggest Ranguana Caye, ask... More

My hot tub worked but not all work from what I heard. It's Belize, I'm told its hard to get parts.
All simple utensils are in the room, forks, spoons, knives. Things like spatulas, large knives, ladles are hit and miss. I called front desk and they brought me the big items not in my room. Rooms have newer pots/pans, plates, cups, bowls, etc.
Most people fly from Belize City to Placencia on Maya or Tropic. They were waiting for us at Placencia airport. No cost-no fee to be picked up.
Enjoy your trip.
