The land transfer from Belize International to the resort was perfect. A scenic drive and the driver was a gentleman and a tour guide. The resort has an incredible setting overlooking the town. The resort itself, well it could be spectacular but falls somewhat short....More
We took some time off from our resort in Hopkins and stayed here. The views overlooking the towns are stunning and we were very impressed with their wonderful staff. The restaurant is open and and overlooks their pools and down the mountain. The food was...More

there a so many things to do in the area... there are the ruins of Cahal Pech (walking distance), Caracol, Xunantunich, and Tikal in Guatemala. There is also the ATM cave, which is well worth the trip. Add to that river tubing, cave tubing, the Belize zoo, horse back riding, botanic gardens and a butterfly farm, all very close to Cahal Pech resort. A week will not be long enough to do everything there is to do close by.
And in two different stays, I never had problems with mosquito in the rooms. Ants sometimes make an appearance (welcome to the tropics) so don't leave open food around, and geckos are frequent visitors, but no mosquito.
