The bad: When I arrived, they were doing road construction, which meant that I had to lug my bags up a hill. There was no acknowledgement of this or anything done to notify or accommodate guests. The room smelled very musty and foul. The internet was very fast in the restaurant, but was quite spotty in the rooms. The okay: The food at the restaurant was decent, but I found that some of the more upscale resorts in the area had equally good, if not better, food at a comparable price and with nicer grounds. The good: The staff was very friendly and helpful and the view is nice.

I cant rate this resort high enough, the food was great (sushi restaurant incredible), the service amazing, the view over all of San Ignacio stunning and minutes walk to Cahal Pech temple. Great for families or just needing a nice space to base yourself in Cayo

We had a great time at Cahal Pech Village Resort. We stayed 10 days in Belize and half of the time this was our base. We rented a car from the airport, and drove into San Ignacio. Belize is very dark at night, and once we found our destination, we were greeted by smiling faces. All of the staff were gracious, and there was nothing they wouldn't do to make our time with them special. The only negative, which really isn't even a negative, is the room was a little outdated. Not to say it wasn't nice, it was, just little things like maybe new mattresses. Again, this really isn't a complaint, just the only thing I could think of. Who stays in their room that much when you are surrounded by nothing but beautiful anyway? The grounds were nice and lush, and the views from the top of the hill are phenomenal. The restaurant was great, and the drinks were ice cold! Probably had everything on the menu, and everything was good. Vanessa, our waitress/bartender made us feel like we were the only ones there. She took care of us beyond any service I have ever had. A small walk down the hill into town, makes you feel close to it all, yet far from the ordinary. A couple minutes walk to Cahal Pech ruins, which is a beautiful site that i recommend to everyone if you appreciate the Mayan history as I do. This is a beautiful place, and I will be back next year!

Well the place had fantastic views overlooking the town. The grounds were beautifully landscaped . Stone pathways leading to small individual cottages along with 2- pools. A great open-air restaurant serving great foods. The staff were the best. Front desk staff will help you in any way they can. Very helpful and also can set you up with tours. The rooms were clean service was great. A thumbs up !!!
