We had an amazing stay with the San Ignacio Resort. The team took care of all of our needs in such a pleasant way. We booked the ATM cave tour through the hotel and I was initially thinking it was a bit pricey. If considering, don’t let this deter you as it was well worth the price as they took excellent care of us and provided us with a lovely picnic lunch. I enjoyed my mornings drinking my coffee while watching the birds. The Iguana tour was a fantastic addition. It was a convenient location as we walked to Cahal Pech and into town for dining and shopping. Highly recommend 😊
This is the second time we have stayed over at the beautiful San Ignacio Hotel in San Ignacio, Belize. WE LOVE IT! This time we brought our kids and their spouses with us. The accommodations are always wonderful, staff SO kind and helpful, our dinner was FABULOUS, and I ALWAYS go to the Iguana Sanctuary there. Love this fabulous hotel!
Do you like fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious meals? if that's the case then you have to visit the restaurant at this resort, this was the first thing that had me as soon as I reached after my drive from the airport in ladyville. I attach a couple of pics for your appreciation. I thank the housekeeping staff for all the attention to detail they place in making my room special, your nights rest after a long day is guaranteed. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist you with any questions you have. I look forward to returning to enjoy the meals and the other attractions in the area, this time i only had time for the Mayan temples, the next trip will be to the caverns and the adventure. see you all soon !
My 15 year old daughter and I spent 4 nights here. The room was comfortable, with very good A/C, comfortable beds and clean, spacious bathroom. We ate several meals here, although we'd intended to do more in-town restaurant exploring than we did, because the hotel restaurant was so convenient and delicious. the pool was beautiful and felt great after tours in the heat and humidity. The Green Iguana Project was also worth a visit. The employees were all very courteous and helpful. We booked several excursions through the hotel and although they were slightly more expensive than I could have gotten elsewhere, the tours and guides were exceptional! We especially enjoyed Cruz and Jason - so thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. I could tell I was getting a better experience than other tours around us. I would stay here again and book with Cruz and Jason, for sure.…
We stayed for lunch after our iguana tour. Food was good. I had a club sandwich and my husband had fish tacos. Good food, good service. The table next to us ordered several drinks that looked great also.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful my sister's wedding was at the San Ignacio Resort. Not only is the property beautiful and clean, but every single employee is pleasant and extremely helpful. The wedding coordinator made everything seamless for my sister, from the planning to the day of. The food is amazing! From the wedding dinner to meals at the restaurant. I particularly loved the breakfast. Special shout out to Jason who accompanied my family on the Jaguar Paw excursion! Jason was so knowledgeable and accommodating. My 77 year old father was able to do this excursion with ease.
We cannot say enough good things about San Ignacio resort hotel. We had visited once before and were so impressed with the facilities and staff that we decided it would be the perfect place for our wedding. We were not wrong. As a destination wedding, I was extremely nervous about how things would go, but the coordinator and all of the staff were wonderful. We received nothing but excellent reviews from all of our family and friends. Can’t wait to come back! Whether you are a guest for just one day or planning an event, this place is definitely worth your time.
Our family stayed at the San Ignacio Hotel for two nights in the River Suit. It was beautiful. The staff are friendly and hospitable. They were always accommodating. My son enjoyed every moment. Thanks
I booked a weekend to celebrate my husband birthday. It was a great weekend we had so much fun.the food was great, the services were excellent. We did an iguana tour and it was very educational and we got to see little ones and the adult ones as well.i would definitely recommend this place for a family or couples vacation or weekend get away to relax and enjoy.
My wife and I took a short detour to San Ignacio last week. We stayed at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel which turned out to be a perfect 'home base' for our local touring and sightseeing. The walk into town or up to Cahal Pech are very doable, yet when you are on the property, you feel far away from everything. We took a canoe trip inside the Barton Creek Cave with Jason Guzman, who was an outstanding tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly...really made our day. The team at the resort were fantastic. We highly recommend Freddy at the bar!
