A week wouldn’t be too long if you’ll be booking excursions with the lodge. Also, it depends when you are going. I believe they said it will be raining pretty hard until December so you wouldn’t be able to kayak/ paddle... More
A week wouldn’t be too long if you’ll be booking excursions with the lodge. Also, it depends when you are going. I believe they said it will be raining pretty hard until December so you wouldn’t be able to kayak/ paddle board on the river. The closest town is Belmopan but I can’t say much about the shopping because our driver only took us to some sketchy looking liquor store. Honestly, sketchy looking liquor stores are the only things I saw driving around town; unless you stop at fruit stands to buy fruits.
