Do not pass go... The Radisson offers superb service. Check-in was amazing...thank you, Malcolm and Delia and Cairo. A special "thank you" to whoever laundered my travel clothes so beautifully, especially it was a very last-minute request. The person who cleaned my room was so very nice and meticulous. Everyone was so super friendly and pleasant and nice, even when I had a moment (I did apologize). The Coffee is out of this world. The view is spectacular and unrivaled. My only suggestion to the OWNERS (not the staff), is to buy a new van for airport transit. The Van is ancient and the owners can definitely do better. There is a difference between vintage and ancient. However, the driver was perfect, courteous, and very safe. I love my stay!
Diving on the Belize Aggressor IV…the Raddison St. George the perfect place to start your trip. The trip from the airport was $30…the Belize City airport is very easy to get through. The people in Belize City were very friendly and welcoming. English is spoken commonly. The Raddison is a nice property and shows the wear and character of the Caribbean. I ate all of my meals here and thought the price was very reasonable. The Belize dollar is half the value of the US dollar. One the menu if the drink is $10…you will pay $5 US. Be generous and tip…these are very hard working people. The hotel helped with moving my heavy dive gear and they were willing to store items that I did not take on the boat. I felt very safe and comfortable. I am returning on Friday and will look forward to another great night before heading back to the airport. I would definitely return to the Raddison St. George in Belize City…
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back to the US. Our flight got cancelled so the airline put us (and several others) up here for 2 nights. The room was HUGH and clean, good AC and faced the ocean. Beds were a sleep number bed that didnt worked but was sufficient for the small amount of time that we were here. The restaurant had good hot delish food. Highly recommend this hotel It is at the very end of the mainland but still a good, clean safe place to stay.
The Radisson surpassed expectations. The food and drinks were good. They had all the sports games playing. The staff was the most friendly than most hotels I have been to. The pool was decent as well. I had a great view from my room. I will definitely be staying there again.
I was fortunate other hotels were booked during my last business trip. This Radisson ended up being my favorite hotel in Belize City because of its premier location on the waterfront, comfortable rooms, dining options and the excellent staff & service. I plan to return someday.
We stayed here for one night on our way back to the US. Our room had an incredible ocean view. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard during sunset. Our dinner in the restaurant in delicious, and breakfast in the morning was good too. All of the staff were kind, welcoming, and generous throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed meeting Cairo, who drove us to the airport. Yes, the room isn't the most modern in the world, but was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for just a night before catching our flight home. The service and food were quite good here. We found the staff to be very accommodating and helpful. The gift shop is interesting - they charged us $1 US for a single band-aid. The hotel itself is pretty sheltered. Everything is behind walls. You can walk across the street to a dock with pretty views, but we didn't venture much further than that. We would stay here again if we were in Belize City.
We had an ocean view room absolutely recommend booking an ocean view room. It was absolutely amazing you could lay in bed and watch the sunset and sun rise. This hotel is located right on the ocean beside some family friendly parks. It is a Radisson but the outside is definitely in need of being revamped. Very clean decent decor! Super friendly and helpful staff. Ate at the restaurant four times really good food and service just needs some upgrades. Amazing view from deck of the restaurant. The location is close to other hotels/ restaurants and friendly guides offer services right outside the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
Extremely outdated motel. Very worn down. Rooms stink. WiFi is at best, one bar and last 20-30 seconds before kicking you off. DONT WALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. You will be hustled countless times within 100 feet of the hotel. As soon as you step out of the door of the hotel, be prepared to be hustled. I wouldn’t rule out being mugged depending on time of day.
Not at all impressed . CLEARLY NOT FULLY BOOKED BUT EVEN AT 3pm not ready for checkin.. had been there since 0815… stroppy attitude .. to the point that a fellow diver friend Switched hotels ,Frankly lazy service at the bar and restaurant.. porter was was very good …. Think this place is used to ‘resting on its laurels’ captive audience .. has put me off booking a Radisson hotel .. always a management issue not staff when someone like me an experienced traveller makes these comments
