These cabanas are so cute, providing a picturesque, rustic, beach/jungle atmosphere that we adored during our stay in Caye Caulker. Advise to bring bug spray for night time, and use the fans provided if you have a room with out AC. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we ordered groceries and they were ready in our room when we arrived. You can even take a dip in the ocean off the end of their dock. We can’t wait to stay again.

Colinda Cabana is a great place to stay on Caye Caulker. It is easy walking/biking distance to the heart of the island, but feels remote and tranquil. Stay in one of the beach-front units if they are available and wake up to the sun coming up over the ocean. I split my stay between the front and a unit in the back with a shaded deck with a hammock. Can’t go wrong with either.

Wonderful place to stay. Juan takes great care of the place and his guests. Easy bike ride to anywhere on the island, and they provide the bikes. Also really enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise from the palapa. Would definitely recommend it!

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Colinda Cabanas. We traveled with a large group (12 total) and I did all the travel arrangements for the entire party. Keri and all staff members were WONDERFUL with helping me make it work! We probably exchanged a couple dozen emails in which they answered all my questions and helped everyone get in the right cabana for them. We all stayed in Garden View cabanas; they were all beautiful. The beachfront was gorgeous, and we spent more time than I thought on the dock and palapa. It was so relaxing and easy to while away the hours there. We used the bikes and kayaks during our time, all were easy to use and return. The cabanas are an easy walk from most of the action on the island; we decided we preferred being off the main drag a little. The walk wasn't long and the bike ride was very short, so it was worth it to have some space between us and the nighttime noise. Half of our group got massages one day during our stay, and the office staff helped set it up. Some of us set up massages on our own with a different company, and the people who went through Colinda were the winners by far! Less expensive and a much better location (right over the water, away from the main streets, at sunset). They had several golf carts waiting for us when we arrived (we didn't even request that) and helped arrange for golf carts for an early morning departure when we left. And for 12 people + bags, this was no small feat! See the photos for everyone piled in at 6:30 AM, using a cart Colinda/the golf cart operator provided for all the bags. We traveled in November 2021, stayed for 3 nights total (wish it were more!), 12 people in 7 cabanas.

Just love the place. This was our 4th stay, first time since 2018. The new owners made improvements to the dock area, adding more seating, a sea wall and more guest services such as the sale of beer. The staff were helpful with suggestions and advice.

We booked two Cabanas and one suite for 1 week. Everyone was extremely pleased and happy with the location, bike/kayak options which were much needed and the rooms had everything we needed. The staff we super friendly and helpful every step of the way prior to arrival and during our trip. Caye Caulker was a wonderful island! They connected us with some great locals for amazing trips and services: Wanderlust Sailing and Snorkeling (Scub Certification/trips & snorkelingon a beautifulcatamaran, Mario's Tours/Major Tom who took us to Altun Ha/Zip lining/CAVE TUBING ❤️ and Gustavo for our taxi all around the island and he helped with trip planning/restaurant selection. Definitely left feeling relaxed and enjoyed every moment.

You can't beat the view at Colinda Cabanas. We stayed on the second floor and loved it. It was great to have a kitchen and refrigerator, they even had coffee beans for us. Hammocks galore, a/c, bikes to borrow, and great hospitality. Beautiful location to kick back and relax!

Colinda Cabanas was so lovely! The dock was wonderful, we enjoyed the sounds of water while hammocking in the morning and star gazing at night. The cabana itself was great with a kitchenette and separate bedroom space. The front porch area made a nice spot for avoiding the sun but still soaking in the view. Everyone was very helpful and Kari gave us a tip for live music which ended up leading to a memorable night. Would recommend to anyone coming to Caye Caulker.

My wife and I spent a week here at Colinda Cabanas and it is by far the best place on Caye Caulker, if you’re looking for an ocean front cabana, amazing and friendly staff and a place where you can return to and just relax. We both dealt with Kari and Juan who were extremely helpful and responsive from the moment we inquired about a cabana to the moment we checked out. The cabana we stayed in had air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove and oven, and all the necessities, including a blender for fresh homemade pina coladas and a coffee maker and grinder. They provide you with complementary Belize coffee beans for your entire stay! They also offer to take your food shop order and fully stock your cabana before you arrive, for a smaller fee of $10 plus your food shop! This was very helpful and great to have milk, eggs, butter, bread, fresh jams and of course beer and rum! We had an outdoor seating area that also has a hammock, perfect for our morning breakfasts before heading out for the day. They also provide you with complimentary bikes and locks, which was a game changer. We could get around the island with ease, wether is was taking the bikes to the dive shop, for lunch or dinner or sunset drinks, it was such a great amenity to have included. They also have 4 kayaks, which guests can use complimentary. We used the double kayak and took it around the island of Caye Caulker, about 2 hours or so considering the stops for swimming and spotting wild life, including lots of sting rays. They also have a jetty that goes out into the ocean with multiple points of access for swimming and snorkelling. There’s loads of fish and sting rays to be seen right from the jetty. The lounge chairs and hammocks on the jetty make for very relaxing and comfortable time in the sun, to read a book and just look out into the open sea. The jetty is very lightly lit at night so you can sit out and watch the moon light over the ocean with a drink and just listen to the waves. There’s also a friendly night guard which added to the sense of security while staying at the cabana. The cabanas are located on the quiet part of the island which was so lovely to have a nice and peaceful place to come back to after days of exploring the other parts of the island. My wife and I would recommend this place in a heart beat and will definitely be back!

My stay here was excellent! The cabana had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking, water, hammock, air conditioner, fan, comfortable bed. The pier had many chairs and hammocks for relaxing. It is a short distance away from main area but the free bikes and lock provided were in excellent condition. There is also a little store with drinks & snacks on the property. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any needs. We will definitely stay here again and I highly suggest this stay in Caye Caulker!
