You should read close its description on Booking. It clearly said that there is no front desk. So as its name suggests, it is not a hotel, it is "studios and suites", like in capsule hotel. I made a mistake, and missed it. I booked on Booking, but I did not know when I would arrive there (itinerary was hectic). It should be noted that they offered to meet me at the docks, but I did not know when I arrive, I did not have connection during the trip, neither roaming. I expected - naively - that at least two hours before check-in there will be somebody there. Boy, was I wrong! Problems started with the taxi. They did not recognize the hotel's name. When I found it on the map on the smartphone, they said oh yes, it had different name, but some guy bought it recently and renamed (for a reason!) When we arrived - and that happened to be in the outskirts of San Pedro - there was nobody. No reception, just rows of doors. The cabbie sympathized with me, and called the number indicated on the hotel sign, few times. Nobody answered (later "that guy" wrote he did not find any call on his phone - so the number is wrong, anyway). Cabbie found a neighbour, who tried security booth (there is a booth, but no security, just a chicken coop there), callingagain "that guy" who often sits on the steps, as the neighbour said, no avail. So, no desk, no phone connection, nothing. The guys looked at me and said, so you can wait, but keep in mind, this area is not safe. You must have a rented golfcart to live there, they said. Otherwise, how are you going to get out of there? I did not want to sit there with luggage waiting for unknown, and went with the cabbie back to downtown, and found a cheaper, even if more dated, place. I immediately realized that booking a place so far from downtown, in not the best area, having no support from front desk (who is going to call a taxi for you?), was a mistake. I cancelled the booking. From outside, these rooms look like renovated. One cannot get new rooms in downtown for that price. So may be if you have a local phone and golfcart, you will be OK there. Otherwise, it does not make any sense. The farther communication with "that guy" was painful. He accused me of being out of connection (fine!), that he did not get any calls (you get it) and on the top of it, "there were two people to meet you" on the premises. This is just a lie. So caveat emptor. I lost the money.
