We very much enjoyed staying at Lina Point. The staff were very accommodating and had fast response time, always being available. We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow, and one of the bedrooms a/c units didn’t work. They tried to fix it and couldn’t, which wasn’t a huge issue since it was just two of us so we only needed one bedroom. Belize has had a very hard year during Covid. Our back deck pool was clean, the views and sunset were beautiful, and the location was convenient to restaurants and airport. Lina Point also assisted in scheduling our on site covid testing prior to departure, which was performed in the privacy of our bungalow. We stayed in mid June, restaurant on site was not open yet due to restrictions. We highly recommend staying at Lina Point!

it was amazing. was worried about being on the lagoon but was beautiful. the one bedroom we stayed was incredible. the doors open all the way, the bedroom and bathroom were 1st class. the glass in the floor let us see fish every day. the private plunge pool was perfect for a romantic stay! Tula the manager of the resort was amazing. even hooked us up with a chiropractor among other things. we were right over north bridge so we were close to everything. thank u lina point for a great stay!!!

We had a beautiful stay at Lina Point for two nights in one of the over the water bungalows. Overall, it was a great stay though unfortunately the restaurant and bar weren't open due to COVID. It looks like the main pool would be pretty fun if the bar were open and more people were staying there. It was a quieter stay for us, which was fine. PROS: The private deck with private pool was fantastic. Ours faced the sunsets and we made a point to be home in time for it the second night after such an amazing first night. The lagoon is pretty and filled with the sounds of birds, and we consistently saw schools of fish through our window floor. And the the bioluminescence right after sunset! We weren't expecting it, so it was a great surprise. The rest of the suite was comfortable, with a good sized sitting area, a reasonably well-stocked kitchen and plenty of closet space. The location is great for exploring north of the bridge. We went to Secret Beach and a few of the restaurants in the neighborhood. Tula, the manager, was helpful before and during our stay. CONS: It's a little off the beaten path, though definitely not as much as I feared. The ride to a grocery store and a couple of restaurants was not bad at all, and you quickly realize that you're going to have a drive of some kind for most of the places you're going to stay on the island. We stayed our last few days south of town on the beach thinking we'd walk to everything, but only did once. The air conditioning really only cooled the bedroom, but that was okay as well since we spent most of our time on the deck when at the room. Not sure you could hang out in the sitting area for too long on really hot days, though. As others have noted, you can't swim in this water (if that's your dream for an overwater cabana). We were more than okay with that since the private pool was always the perfect temperature, clean, and had the same view as you'd get from the water anyway.

Came to San Pedro after Caye Caulker. Staying in the north where this is located was the best idea for any reasons with a few cons. Customer Service: 4/5 The manager - Tula was helpful and responsive prior and during my stay. A little fast-paced and eager to assist and indeed a problem solver. I wasn't aware of booking my early morning hotel transfer the night before alas she came through and got me picked up just in time the morning off for my 8:30 departure to Belize City. I lost my headset and they searched and a day later got back to me that it was indeed in the golf cart. Arrangements were made and now I will pick it up from the ferry captain. Integrity and honesty go a long way in my book. Tula rocks! Comfort: 3/5 I liked my room (Snapper). Basic and minimal decor. Great AC, good view, quiet. I think post covid it will be noisy due to the room being by the pool. huge bathroom, really tranquil, and no amenities.Wifi was excellent. The disposal of toilet paper is something I got used to living in Asia, but it is still disconcerting. It makes sense being an island with no proper sewage system. It's located in the north of the island. I rented a golf cart from the tour operator onsite for one day to explore. It was worth it, but for the price and the gas, it was expensive. Walking into town to the restaurants takes about 40 mins each way. I recommend booking a cart in town you will get a better price and a better quality cart. Value: 3/5 I got the covid deal as the country is slowly opening up. I think it will be of a different value once things go back to normal. The complex is quite nice and definitely an escape from the busy, polluted, and noisy center. I got my value for what it is. With no amenities, I think it could have been cheaper, but I understand from a business perspective being closed for so long

This was a rescheduled birthday trip from 2020 for my husband and me. We were greeted at the San Pedro airport by Karen and driven directly to the resort. The cabana was clean, quiet, and just perfect for us. There was an air conditioning unit in the bedroom powerful enough to slightly cool the kitchen and living area as well. The glass cutout on the floor was cool and illuminated at night so you can see the fish swimming by. The staff was accommodating and answered calls quickly. The location was just perfect. To left on the main road takes you to the west side of the island and Secret Beach. To the right, you'll find groceries, shops, and a bustling main street. The roads are a bit bumpy, but you'll get used to it soon enough. The people in San Pedro are very friendly, so feel free to ask questions or stop to have a conversation. We wouldn't hesitate to return to San Pedro and Lina Point at any time.
