I have stayed there 4 or 5 times over the years but not lately. The place is wonderful but the prices in my opinion have gotten out of control, at least on my budget. Great history, good food, quiet, all with a wonderful view plus you get a golf cart to get to town, be careful

Lovely brunch with gorgeous island views. Its easy to see why the Wrigleys built a home here. The views are spectacular. You can see the ocean and all across the island even to the newer home built by the Wrigley relatives who now own several of the island hotels, restaurants

There is no rooftop deck. The Grand Suite has a private balcony but costs upwards of $900 per night. The Bethany Glen and Morning Glory rooms share a semi private balcony ($700’s). There is a public deck on the ground floor where lunch is served daily in season and weekends off season. All would be nice proposal sites depending on if you want to actually stay overnight there or just do lunch. Call them!

Do you serve dinner as well?
Mt. Ada serves some wonderful choices for Breakfast and Lunch. The have wine and cheese in the late afternoon. The Pantry is also available to guests...popcorn, ice cream, sodas, and a variety of other snacks. My wife and I did not ever have to go out for dinner. Bottom line...for what Mt. Ada offers, you cannot beat the price (atmosphere, meals, snacks, golf cart, atmosphere again!!!). You will not regret your choice!!!

The Inn changed owners and closed for some remodeling in November 2014. It opened again in February 2015 and they are taking reservations now. I'm not sure if they have restarted the online reservations, but you can call 1-310-510-2030 to make reservations and get information. I've heard the new owners have made some great changes over the past few months. Hope you are able to enjoy the Inn and it's fabulous views.

"All rooms have excellent views of the ocean, with three or four having views of Avalon and the harbor."
"Bethany Glen and Grand suite has a balcony"
"There are only about 10 bedrooms I think and it is very quaint. Pricey, but for the luxury and elegance of it all, it is well worth it."
"Try room 3 for a view, 4 and 5 have a balcony"
"This is a home converted into a B&B, so expect smaller rooms. It's all about the ambiance!"
