We were some of the first guests to arrive on opening day. We were greeted by an enthusiastic valet and bell staff, then directed to the check-in. There we were offered complementary glasses of champagne. The whole staff adhered to mask guidelines and after using their credit card reader, I was given a hot towel to clean my hands.

My wife and I came down from the Bay Area to go to Disneyland and to see family. The location across from Disneyland was amazing. We are Titanium Marriott Bonvoy members, so we reserved a basic king room, but used suit nights to upgrade to a King 1-bedroom suite with a balcony and park view of the roller coaster at California Adventure (which we rode when we visited the park).

The room was beautiful! The master bathroom was amazing with a duel sink, separate bath and shower. It’s accessed through recessed double sliding doors.

The climate control was independent for the bedroom and the living room. Both are controlled by very futuristic looking touch controls, however ours did not function perfectly (hotel sent engineer to help) but that was a minor issue in an overall awesome stay.

The hotel bar staff was awesome! Keep an eye out for Viet and ask for the Mescal Old Fashion with agave syrup, if you like a smokey cocktail!

My wife used the gym and she said it was amazing and the staff were meticulous in keeping it clean and sanitized. They also brought her tangerine water and regular water.

Throughout the trip we were both greeted by name and made to feel welcomed. Lauren at the front desk checked us in and checked us out. She was great, and that goes for the whole front desk staff.

I highly recommend visiting!

I would have given this hotel a "5', because it really was very nice. My reduction pertains only to those people who want their privacy respected in their hotel rooms, First of all, the hotel is beautiful, with a nice fresh looking lobby and restaurant. We had a Juliet balcony room with glass doors that opened from wall to wall, very nice and it had a view of Disneyland, although you could only see the tops of some rides, but a good view of the nightly fireworks. For all of these reasons I would recommend the hotel.
However, there was a problem. Due to the COVID pandemic, as soon as we arrived we called the concierge and told them that we DID NOT want our room cleaned during the 4 days we were going to be there. Once the room is ours, we didn't want people walking in from other rooms they had just cleaned, or touching our belongings. Yet that is exactly what happened. The hotel does not have "Do Not Disturb" signs to hang on the door. Instead, they use an electronic RED button and when its pressed, the staff is, of course not supposed to enter, Despite illuminating the red "Do Not Disturb" button and despite specifically telling the concierge that we did not want maid service, we came back the first night to see that maid service was provided, despite our instructions. All of our belongings were "straightened up", meaning that everything was touched, and the maid left us a special 'surprise." A bottle of cleaning solution was left on the bathroom counter, by the sink, with a 'foreign' hair hanging off of it- yich. Most disgusting. When I complained to the conceriege I was promised a phone call that day after they looked in to it. I didn't get that call. When I asked a different person at the concierge the next day, I was promised a call again, but didn't get one. I will say that they did remove two breakfast charges from my room without informing me, but the bottom line is, that in this pandemic, it you ask not to have your room 'invaded', your wishes should be respected.
Too bad, If you want a very nice hotel, this hotel is very nice. I would hope that they will learn from this mistake and respect their guests wishes more. I doubt that this would happen again and so as I stated, this issue might not matter to all people and if it doesn't matter to you, then this is a very nice hotel.

Top Notch!

We stayed two nights to enjoy the Disney parks, so my review is mainly the room, staff and in room dining, as we did not have time to try any other amenities.

The room was new, spotless, and well appointed. Tech everywhere from master lighting controls to plentiful plugs ( both standard and USB) and electronic privacy/ service lights. Lighting was great and could be adjusted to different levels. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable. I can be very picky about hotel rooms and I was very happy here.

Some previous reviewers mentioned having trouble turning off lights, but we had no issues. There are master controls by the door that turn everything off and individual controls at each fixture.

Others mentioned that the ac was hard to use. Again, not difficult at all. It is off when you are out of the room, but we had no trouble cooling the room on a hot day (and I’m an AC junkie and demanding user!).

The staff was outstanding, knowledgeable, and eager to help, from the valet/bell staff at arrival to the front desk, and housekeeping who responded to requests very quickly.

In room dining staff was great. We used it three times and all orders delivered promptly and correctly with staff willing to adjust to guest Covid preferences (delivering outside the door or full set up inside). A few more choices on the late night menu would have been nice but the food quality and taste was great.

My only comments relate to the lack of a bathtub, as it would be nice for a post park soak, but that appears to be a disappearing amenity in new hotels and the two table thing inside the bedroom area was a little odd. Small details that did not distract from this beautiful new property with excellent staff.

We normally stay on Disney property at the Grand Californian but this was much nicer. The only thing GCH has is location but that was quickly overcome with a quick Uber.

Well done! We will be back!

As the title explains, we stayed at this hotel to be able to venture to Disneyland on two separate days. As you know one day is never enough, especially if it will be your first visit.

This hotel is situated in a pristine location that is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the park, if you want to save on parking. We pulled up to the hotel and greeted by the openness of the valet area (like cul de sac) and the rooms facing the back of the California Adventure Park (CAP). I was greeted by someone immediately from the valet that assisted with our suitcases and valeted my truck. We have not stepped foot into the hotel yet and you can see the beauty and taken the details of this hotel. The doors opened into the lobby area and a clean/fresh aroma in the air, elegant and inviting. The check in process was efficient and easy, as long as have the app and checked in prior to arriving. I was provided a time frame in which our belongings would make it up to our room. We walked through the lobby area and made our way to our room on the 7th floor facing the back of CAP. Upon entering the room it was magnificent, bright, clean, and modern. We had two beds (queen) with a balcony facing CAP. The bathroom had a barn door, some closet space, drawers, a small counter area for the keurig machine and a small fridge. The room had a table with two comfortable chairs. The room was spacious for two adults and two small children under the age of 8. The beds are heavenly and allowed for a good nights rest. The pillows may need to be replaced as I needed to stack two pillows together and was still able to obtain a good nights rest. The hallway was silent with the occasional child screaming for joy. The highlight which my children enjoyed was being able to watch the fireworks from the bed one night and on the balcony another night. The fireworks show that occurs only on the weekend from Main Street can be seen from our room. It was a bit chilly and raining so being able to watch from our room was a bonus. The ability to be able to open the sliding door and actually step on to a balcony is refreshing. My kids were able to play on the balcony with supervision. They were able to lounge on the outdoor furniture when they both needed a break from each other.

I feel the hotel is a family/friendly location. There are three restaurants at this hotel: one in the lobby area, one on the rooftop, and another across from the valet area. We had someone service our room daily, which was a plus considering we have children.

It was a perfect place to celebrate my spouse's birthday, anniversary, and my kids first time going to Disneyland. The room did not disappointment and allowed my kids to sleep well at night to be able to conquer Disneyland the next day. This place is all about location, location, location! I will recommend The Westin Anaheim Resort. I want to thank Mr. Alfred Bedonia for a welcoming and exceptional.

My title has to do with what my 7 year old daughter called this hotel. The Bestin!! From our arrival, the front and the grounds were beautiful! You walk in the lobby is beautiful and it’s clean, light and airy and smells so nice! Every staff member we interacted with were super nice, helpful and personable. We definitely felt like royalty! We initially started out in a room that had only a shower and we were supposed to have a tub (to soak our feet in after Disneyland). We got into our new room with a tub in 3 minutes! They were so accommodating!
The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, smelled good and high tech! The shower heads (yes, multiple) were such a great touch! We had a theme park view room with a balcony, so we had an awesome view of the fireworks at Disneyland, which was worth it because at night we’d wear pjs and watch them from our balcony instead of dealing with the crowds at Disneyland. And the balcony was one of biggest balconies I’ve ever had at a hotel!
Room service and the food were on point! Such good quality and options. Not one complaint! Shout outs and praises to Nancy and Diego for taking our daily orders and being so pleasant and friendly!!
I like that there is also a couple of restaurants on site and a market!
We also enjoyed the pool during a break from Disneyland and realized it was salt water! Awesome! The hot tub is also really big so you don’t have to feel squished with strangers.
We were bummed that we didn’t get to see the rooftop restaurant because we were always so busy and tired but next time! We will definitely be back! I almost don’t want to recommend this hotel so they aren’t sold out when we try to go lol

We stayed at the brand new Westin Anaheim during a visit to Disney this month. The hotel is shiny and new. It has that wonderful new smell and was spotless. The rooms are very modern and there are 2 spots in the room where you can use a “keypad” to set all the lights in the room- daytime lighting, nighttime lighting, etc. there is even a way to light up the full length mirror. Often times, hotel rooms are dark even with all their lights on- not a problem at the Westin. The full length mirror that lit up really was a nice feature. It was probably the best lit room I have ever stayed in. I loved being able to control all the lights from the bed. We had 2 connecting rooms and both were nice sizes and had decent storage. One thing I would suggest is upgrading to a room with a park view. We did not do this and our rooms overlooked a bleak parking lot. However, we passed one of the rooms with a park view. The door was open and it looked as though the big roller coaster from California Adventure was going to come right through the window. Certainly that is more fun to look at than a parking lot. The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and welcoming. They were clearly happy to be working again. The concierge (I am blanking on his name,) was a delight and gave us many helpful tips about Disney, as well as good restaurant recommendations. His enthusiasm of being at this new hotel and trying to get back to normal after a year and a half was palpable. There is a rooftop restaurant where you can watch the Disney fireworks from. It was a quick walk to Disney. I would say it was about an additional 5 minutes to get to the Westin after you are at the Grand Californian. I had considered booking the Grand Californian but the rooms looked tired and after walking though the lobby of the hotel, I was even more thrilled that we were at the Westin. I only wish we had reason to stay at this hotel longer. It was was a wonderful place.

We just left the Westin Anaheim from a 5 day Disneyland family vacation. We came in tow with and infant and 2 toddlers, 3 adults and were more than impressed with the cleanliness, size of hotel and rooms, Westin smell :), front desk assistance, upgrades, food options within the hotel, pool and LOCATION!! We were met by Diego at the front desk upon check in and were surprised with an upgrade to a King sweet with connecting Queens for our family. That gave us all the room we needed with cribs, 2 strollers, and an abundance of luggage. Diego met EVERY request we had from the moment we walked in the door. Thank you Diego!!! You started us off with pure Magic. If you have status with Marriott, you are welcome at the club level and it's open all day for treats and small bites. William, who monitors the morning breakfast hours is Wonderful ! He has all kinds of helpful tips for where to go, how to get there, and so fun!! Thank you for doing the dishes William! Our rooms were cleaned daily and everything was always spotless! It was an easy walk to Disney! It really took us about 20 minutes with 2 strollers and 3 kids, but we enjoyed every minute and all the chatter about Disney experiences. The hotel is a great location for anything you are doing in the area. The pool is a generous size and we never felt crowded out. The pool bar and food was fabulous. We loved the kid meal options at Tangerine and the quality was amazing! We will always return to this hotel for any stays in the area! If you have status with Marriott, they do care and did accommodate late check out, etc.. whereas so many other resort hotels always say NO.. to requests. It was such a wonderful home away from home, for a very busy vacationing family. We loved walking back from the park mid afternoon for naps, swimming and the 4 o'clock snack hour at the club level. Then we were back to the parks. BTW.. the parks are really crowded right now, and mid afternoon breaks from the heat were welcomed! The valet staff was fun and always helpful. They hand out cold water bottles on your way to the park, and you will need those!! Thank you Westin Anaheim for our wonderful family vacation experience!!

Newer hotel so everything is still working. The hotel was well maintained, rooms were clean and bathroom had the basic things like shampoo and soap that you could dispense from the bottles on the wall. There's also restaurants connected to the hotel so if you don't want to order from the hotel you can venture out. Overall stay was nice. I would stay here again if I was traveling by myself. I wouldn't stay here if I had my family. Not that it's not a family friend hotel, but if you're planning on going to Disneyland, this isn't it for you. There's no shuttle, the park is a 2 mile walk and honestly no one wants to walk some more after walking all day. There's no free parking or free Internet and there's a service fee for room service on top of an additional 18% gratuity. I would stay again, but not with family.

I am a huge Disney fanatic so when deciding to take my family to Disneyland I for sure thought I would stay at a Disney property - I am so glad that I didn't!

Disney hotels are great BUT for the price tag not so much. The Westin Anaheim exceeded my expectations. When I travel, my number one priority is cleanliness. I read all the reviews and even if there is one knock on cleanliness then I cross it off the list. The Westin is beautiful AND clean.

Our room was ready as soon as we checked in at 3pm (which is great after driving for a few hours in SoCal traffic). The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. The location of our room was pretty far from the elevator but someone has to stay in the room - just the luck of the draw.

The location of the Westin can not be beat! It's about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland (probably quicker if you don't have two little kids). We did have a car however after learning how close everything was we decided to return it to Alamo which is right down the street.

The pool area seems a bit small for the size of the hotel but overall it was great. My kids loved the pool and my husband and I loved the pool bar. The servers by the pool were excellent.

On our second day we returned to our room mid day to find that our room seemed very warm. I called the front desk and they sent an engineer up right away to see what the problem was. The engineer reset the system and our room cooled down almost immediately. I was very impressed with how attentive the staff were.

On our last day we sent our bags to bell services for the day while we enjoyed the parks. I called bell services at 7am and by 715am they arrived to take our bags to storage. Again, I was super happy with how attentive they were.

My only concern is that there are only 3 washers and 3 dryers for the entire hotel. For a large hotel that services many families that spend their days in a theme park a washer and dryer is usually a necessity on vacation. Luckily, I was able to grab the last washer that was free but unfortunately several people walked in after me that wanted to do their laundry. If you think this isn't a big deal then you probably don't have kids.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay! If we ever head back to Disneyland we will definitely be staying here again!

The Westin Anaheim was one of our better Disneyland visits (2 night hotel stay). Alfred Bedonia at the front desk was awesome and took great care of us! The staff and services at the club level was particularly useful. Its worth checking it out for the price (if you use it), coffee and breakfast made it worth while for us.

We also had an amazing burger at the restaurant in the lobby and even though it was raining and we couldn't spend time on the Rooftop the amenities of the Westin can make you appreciate the location, the bar, and the room.

The room was clean, with great lighting from the window, and the small balcony was nice. We appreciated the option to do laundry on our floor and appreciated that a hotel key was required to get to your floor.

Thank you to the Westin Anaheim and Alfred for making our stay memorable!

There are packages you can choose (when choosing your room) that include breakfast. There is also amazing room service and about 4 or 5 restaurants on property - a few have excellent breakfast choices.

Yes! And it was a very nice guest laundry room.

My preferred route is making a left out of the hotel front drive heading west on Katella, cross Katella and head north on Disneyland Drive alongside DCA (do not cross Disneyland Drive), then hang a right into the Grand Californian using the front drive walkway, continue through the lobby and meeting space foyers to the Downtown Disney security line, and then turn right once inside Downtown Disney towards the main gate.
