Stayed for three nights for a convention. Ate both catered meals as well as the cafe. The food was good, hot and wee presented. What stood out during the entire stay was the quality of the staff. They were formal, professional and caring. My room was large, clean and traditionally appointed. The bathroom was good sized, spotless and functional. Hot water came quickly and the shower roomy. Water pressure was almost too low. The bed and pillows guaranteed a good sleep. There was a little problem of conversations from the next room.

Hotel's Favourite
The location does not get better. This hotel is located in the heart of DC, within walking distance to most attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful if a tad intimidating on arrival. However, the friendliness of the staff is incomparable. The attention to detail sells the stay. I will definitely return.

We wanted to stay at The Willard Hotel because of its rich history. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed touring the building itself. The rooms are immaculate and the service great at the restaurant and from the concierge. The location is great - an easy walk to the White House and the subway and there is a stop out front for a “hop on hop off”bus tour of the major attractions. We loved our stay - and btw - they have a very nice fitness center!

The hotel is elegant and upscale with out being uppity. It has an amazing history (see its History Gallery.) You almost feel like royalty. Everything is well maintained and appointed. Staff is friendly and attentive. The bar can be crowded, but the restaurant makes up for that.

My mother and I stayed at the Willard for 2 nights and it was a wonderful time. Every request was granted by the very gracious staff. The front desk staff was personable and helpful. The Bellmen and Valets were always at the ready to assist and carry and guide. We needed some extra help at times and all of the Willard personnel seemed happy to provide it.
